Very good video. However, I would suggest that you do the sleeves first, neck shoulder area next and then the T, then the front then the back. With the way you describe, the large areas might get wrinkled as you do the detailed areas at the end.
Another little trick if you go to pull out your jacket and notice its gotten a few wrinkles from getting bumped around in the closet is to remove the plastic and hang it up it the bathroom while you shower. The steam from the shower will help to pull out the wrinkles much little hitting them with the steam feature on the iron will.
This is an extreme case of OCD, I used to be this bad when I was a CDC in a kitchen, I would dismiss my chefs from work if they did not have a clean start bed and ironed jacket! I would lose my shit if I seen things not folded properly or clean. One of the best things to ever happen to me was leaving that line of work! I found that my severe OCD over then next 10 years tamed itself out of me.
+Max Wright Have you tried putting it on a hanger (a thick wooden one)till it's cool and only folding it after? They will keep wrinkle free if you pack them separately in small plastic pouches once they're folded. It worked for me, my ex husband is a Chef and I used to iron all his vests(jackets), pants and aprons every week
Fabulous!! My T's are still in every jacket I own! Thank you for continuing the standard, you are the greatest!
You are correct. I suggest spraying while the jackets are wet, right out of the washer and them let them dry completely before ironing

Thank you, I'm 17 and starting my internship in Italy tommorow, should have done this earlier but well, laziness will be my downfall
if you spray with heavy starch too much and dont wait half an hour the coat turns yellow, cuz the starch gets toasted
Looked this up since I’m going to JWU Charlotte 🐾
I do the exact same thing. Yes work that corner man so you can get hot and steamy. Chef love man!
