Does it have a mode or someway to use it for stop motion? Would be great to have a dolly like this that could be moved a set distance one step at a time.
It does not but that is a great idea. I believe that this could easily be achieved by a firmware update. You could suggest it to Neewer and they may take that into consideration?

You really should try this one. It has its limitations but it’s a great little dolly. Perfect for table tops and smooth surfaces. And it comes with a phone clamp.
I've just got this one and have a 15 Pro Max so will see how it turns out ...
Does it hve a loop mode?
It doesn’t have a loop mode but I feel that this could be added with a simple firmware update. Hopefully they add it because I would use it too!
