Been many men killed pushing high trees down that split the tops off and landed on the cab. My uncle used to have two D9s, and a D6. He shoved a lot of woods down for housing developments. They would clear it then build roads and ditches. He had a Bantam cable crane with a dragline, and they usually dug a pond somewhere close, took dirt and built it up. Amazing how fast they could take a woods to a place ready to build homes.
The beginning of the video really sounds like a washing machine full of pig iron. but I absolutely like how the operator pushes tjhem down, very good us of the decel - liked!
Trees completey rotted,as I read here below? If so,then these trees would have snapped on ground level.And that did not happen,the trees came out with their roots.
but a d9 doesn't have a tianguler track design, is twice the size of that lil thing... and can push over a damn tree. least the d9 my friends uncle had.. it had a hood over the whole top to protect from falling tree's
Cat 994 can lift 25 yard of dirt and equals about 50 thousand pounds. That d9 weighs a bit over 100 thousand pounds. The 994 maybe can't get that 9 off the ground but the breakout force of that 994 can flip that 9 like a toy and smash it and the tree and everything else laying around. Maybe you meant a small wheel loader .
bill smith That's just one of those statements you make to get an idea across. It's usually not 100% true or exadurated to make a point... That's what I do sometimes I don't know about that guy he might mean it literally.

The d9 I see at the dump look like those triangle track maybe 2 versions of it.
