Well that is one that we have ticked off but will almost certainly do again! Definitely views round every corner, as you say. We took your advice Sarah and started in Lansallos, made our way to the fabulously named church St Wyllow in the parish of Lanteglos-by-Fowey before joining the Hall Walk. Loved the ferry rides. We returned to St Wyllow before heading off to the coastal path. The buoy at West Coombe was tolling - a really lovely sound. We then completed the loop via East Coombe and Raphael Road. And the weather was perfect. Thank you so much for "making" us do this one.

We took both of them to the groomers yesterday and they are now sporting a close shave! We left it too long between cuts and their feathers had to go :( but at least they are cool and have a new-found energy! Sarah :)

I remember that ferry and hearing the fishermen singing that evening about the sailing long ago of Cornish people who sailed to South Australia. You always bring back happy memories of Cornwall. I wish we had those booklets when we were there as I think we would have seen a lot more. Sorry about your little dog but like us, they grow too old for long walks!. Thank you for sharing. Warm greetings, Julie.

Have done this lovely walk many times, but always in reverse, starting at Polruan and finishing in Fowey, we time it to have lunch at the Old Ferry Inn in Bodinnick before catching the ferry over to Fowey.

Bit pricy to park but then again, it is National Trust...loved the war memorial and the view, both fantastic. Polruan Castle was very good and in its day it must have had a stunning view for the occupants. Loved this walk and a definite 10 from me, cheers Alan

This has to be one of my favourite videos on your channel. It looks like a “must do” walk, in particular the way the views kept revealing themselves. I have to admit to a “wow!” out loud when you emerged from the castle onto the little headland at Polruan. Thank you both!

What a beautiful bay with boats! Lovely views from the walk! Fowey is a cute town! I know that it wasn't easy to leave a pup behind, but I am sure it is easier on all of you. "What a lovely place to be shot!" HAHAHAHA! Nice that hikes/walks can be accessed on our phones. Oh, the swans! Those prices...Andrew should certainly pay it. HA! Love the marina! The Inn is nice too! What a climb! Just such a great walk! I hope we can get to Cornwall someday. You all certainly make it look inviting! Have a great week! Kay

As a Cornwall resident, wondered why it is called the Fowey Hall walk? As a rider, some years ago, my daughter and son in law were general managers of Fowey Hall Hotel and we have good memories of staying there with some notables during the Daphne du Maurier festival.

You seem to capture the beauty in your walks. Sad about your blind puppy. . .I have been considered "legally blind" for last two years. . .then two weeks ago, I had cataract surgery on one eye. Can't wait until next month when they do my other eye! Like a new lease on life. You should both be wearing sun glasses. . .everyone will get cataracts. . .especially us blue-eyed blondes! So, please protect your eyes! ;-)

Hello Barbara, We wear sunglasses but I think when talking to camera, it looks so much better if you can see the person talking, it's much better if you can see their eyes. So don't worry we have them with us, just prefer to film without them. Sarah :)
