The other thing about forms is that people are more leery about submitting too much personal info, so if you only ask for an email address, they may be more apt to submit the form and once contacted, will be more willing to give up more info. But most might not be as committed to their inquiry and might not submit anything if it asks for tons of info from you from the get-go ..... "I just want to know if you have xxxxxx available. You don't need my phone, email and birth place!!" LOL
