I ripped all the inside walls out of my Old transit. Rebuilt the wooden frame in all four corners and window frames. Re-sealed all the window frames and where the roof joined the walls. Not easy and 4 years later there was leeks everywhere. I was going to rip the whole back off and fit one of the fibreglass BT Luton boxes, there's still a lot of them about that have been converted to trailers. I gave up and bought a better van. I think your vans rear chassis is galvanised.
Now the fun bit find all the leaks 😮 will it be done in time cliffhanger 😂 I have every faith in your subscriber's but tim I'm really not sure about you son all the best
Fortunately Charlie, we have had a lot of rain recently, so as luck would have it, the leaks will be easier to locate. I don't drink and smoke so I will have a lot more time than you for solving problems, even with a full-time job.

Hi Tim sorry to inform you but the campervan you have brought is scrap mate it's completely damp and will have to rip everything out and start again you have had worse than pack it in stan once damp gets a hold in a campervan or caravan they are fucked unless you get it in the early stages so go and give that old bloke a slap for having you over mate
@@SocksWithSandals I hope you do mate but I don’t like the fact of a old man ripping you off you do know the work involved mate you need to rip everything out and seal it all and rebuild all the frame work in the van and basically rebuild it mate
Looks like you could have to dedicate an entire season to the deep clean/rebuild of your new motorhome! Certainly sad to see how much the water ingress has destroyed. The coachwork body is built in a similar fashion to a caravan and it's always the Seals between the panels and around the windows that deteriorate over time and let the water in. Looks like it's certainly has some moist spots! I would recommend sealing around all the joints externally with CT1 or something similar and then recoating the entire outside including the roof with a rubberized paint, you need to keep the water out! Winter is coming! Fitting a small wood burning stove wouldn't be a bad idea certainly help to keep the place dry. If only your DIY skills were on par with your video editing skills nobody watching this would have any need for concern;) let's hope more amazing people like London living can lend you a hand👍Good luck Tim at least the engines rock solid
