(Yes this is bribery and I’m not ashamed to admit it because we all crave affection). This has elicited such a positive narrative from these heroes that I will learn immediately and try my hardest. If it looks too fancy then skip it as there are a lot of simple dishes you can do pretty well at home without being a trained chef. Even the ones you don't quite nail are still good meals in most cases.
You should certainly be able to knock out a nice chicken tikka masala. 👍 Of course, making naan bread might be a bit tough if you're not used to dealing with yeast and making bread, but it's also doable.
You can totally do it! As an Indian who cooks everyday hot meals for my family, I think Indian Cuisine is easy to learn, if you can get your hands on just some basic ingredients, like onion, ginger, garlic and spices. All the best! :)
That is SO sweet! I hope you enjoy cooking and that your grandchildren keep coming to visit you for thirds! You should definitely try making chhole (the chikpeas curry) and bhaturas might be a bit tricky to make so you can make "puri" (also spelt "poori") to go with the chhole! They're basically just mini bhaturas (fried dough pancakes, look up the recipe online they're SUPER easy to make) and taste the same. My mum makes chhole puri very often and it's a great dish for when guests come over. :))

I absolutely LOVE Indian cuisine. Had initially ruled it out after my first experience was a bad one at an Indian restaurant in New Jersey about 27 years ago. Then about 2 years later was invited over to an Indian friend's home for dinner and it was life-changing! So, good! Then another Indian friend also asked us to dinner. Again amazing! Loved it ever since. Went to India a few years ago. Going back in October. Really looking forward to it. Thanks, Try Channel for the fantastic video. Great to see the Tryers getting to enjoy what they are trying!
Took my brother and his wife to dinner once at an Indian restaurant I really wanted to try out. Ordered literally everything on the menu. The food was so good. Unfortunately the business closed during the pandemic and I haven’t found anything comparable since.
I bought spices from the India Spice House in my city. The owner taught me recipes... youtube can provide recipes and methods. It’s delicious food. And you can vary every dish until you find your favourites. You can also buy pre made mixes for more money. Or for more money still, pre made sauces from the grocery store, Asian aisle. (We have those in Vancouver 🇨🇦) I’ve found myself addicted to somosas from the grocery store. Often.. the 2 good kinds are out of stock ! Lastly, most expensive ... are the delicious restaurants.
A very kind episode for the Tryers! Indian food is basically magic to me. I have no idea how they make it, it's so different than most things I eat, and it's divine. When I visited a friend in LA, I asked if he knew of any Indian restaurants. He found one. I asked if they could make Palak Paneer (minced spinach with firm cheese cubes). They could! And did! I was born in England, raised in Canada, but of Indian heritage and all these dishes are right up my alley. I’m glad they gave you gulab jamun that was not overly sweet. My cousin is an amazing cook and she made me fresh gulab jamun once that I dipped into the syrup on my own it was heavenly. Would be great for you to try some tandoori dishes as well.
@LindaC616 Indeed. They can be so good when the sweetness is adjusted. Here’s a trick of mine when I bring them home. Soak the balls in milk and squeeze out a little of the sugar syrup. Then remove the balls from the liquid and bake in a toaster oven the outside is a bit crispy. Eat as is or dip into the sweetened milk if you like. They taste freshly made with just the right amount of sweetness.
Another culinary "field trip" - well done! An actual TRY expedition to a specialty restaurant (if not actual other countries) would be fun to see some time. To me spicy means flavourful like this, and not just nuclear burn-your-innards misery to endure....although we do enjoy the occasional bit of torment lol Good pairings of old and newer pals - glad everyone enjoyed!

Y’all brought out a bunch of my favorite Tryers! Ciara, CallyAnn, Éadoinn, Paddy and Dermot! I am a happy, happy man right now!
Don’t forget Pagan!
I miss leather jacket Jesus and his alcohol descriptions
Justine is the best
Dermot practically licked his plate after every round. That was high praise. It all looked amazing.
Wow! A rare across the board agreement from all the TRYers! Callyann and Paddy are always a great pairing. Scrump-diddly-umptions, as Callyann would say. Cheers....
watching Dermot absolutely lose it at every dish made me so happy because he looks like the kind of person who is willing to try everything and is a very chill person to be around. loved him and his reactions.
9:59 try it warm next guys😊
I was born in England, raised in Canada, but of Indian heritage and all these dishes are right up my alley.
I’m glad they gave you gulab jamun that was not overly sweet. My cousin is an amazing cook and she made me fresh gulab jamun once that I dipped into the syrup on my own it was heavenly.
Would be great for you to try some tandoori dishes as well.
It's always too sweet. I much prefer gujar halva. Gonna make some this week
@LindaC616
Indeed.
I was drooling throughout this video! I ❤ indian food! You all did great! Glad you liked it!
As Indian I'm happy to see you all enjoy this. Can't wait to see more reaction videos to other Indian desserts, it gets very interesting!!
Oh my gosh I love you guys!! Your energy is amazing to watch
I loved their genuine reaction
I adore these episodes where the Tryers totally enjoy what they are trying.
I agree.
Curry and naan in Dublin just seems so right. Indian cuisine makes everything better.
@cowdiansjealous paki😂😂
@cowdianslol okay Gaul
@cowdiansyes you are among this 😂 get out of here 🤢
@@OnlyBharat_Indiabro don't comment then , they just know to hate
@cowdians jealous Pakistani 🤣 cry more son, India is your Dad .
Fantastic! Absolutely love seeing the TRYers in food heaven. Listening to Colin butcher every food's name was amazing as well.
@Dermot Ward would definitely be the absolute *soul* of the party! Would just love to have him around in any group.
thanks for showing greatest actors
A level of excitement normally only seen on a booze shoot.
I think if Callyann ever appeared in a Try shoot in a bad mood it definitely would be the first warning that the End of Days were upon us
I agree.
Amen. She is a ray of pure positivity
It's a show obviously, she's a good actress.
Right? She’s such fun to watch!😊
Who remembers the days when the Try Channel would get scared by even the slightest hint of spice? #growth
I can remember hearing one of the Tryers say that in Ireland mayonnaise is considered spicy!
Their positivity and good vibes❤❤
Love from India
love their energy! glad they liked our cuisine
This is my most favorite and the cutest Indian food try and review I've ever seen. Love it!! ❤
I will ALWAYS give Ciara my onions
You're such a giver. She loves pickles too.
❤❤❤❤
@@tainowarrior5781sheeeeeeeeeesh!!!😂😂
@@CiaraODohertylove your presence mam❤❤❤
Never thought you would do my 2 fav content ATEEZ and this.
Irish people are so much fun. Best reactions ever!
Their enthusiasm is giving me anxiety in a good way. Loved the reaction. Keep up the good work guys
Éadaoin hair color and style looks Amazing .& Makes her beautiful eyes Pop more.Glad she enjoyed the Indian Foods.
yes welcome back, naughty Eadaoin ! x
Love Indian food! This was an awesome episode. Thanks, now I'm having cravings...lol!
I don't know why am crying but am so happy lol. Their wholesome energy, enthusiasm and love for food just resonates.
Indian food is the perfect example of don't judge a book by a cover.
p.s: this is only a teaser for Indian food. There's thousands of incredible Indian dishes from different parts of the country.
So True! Every district of every State in India has a different taste variation, and every State has their own unique dish, which just cannot be matched. .
honestly guys you guys are adorable and so cute trying all this stuff, As a indian i wouldn't be this excited to be eating this as you guys are.
Ciara is so elegant and funny and intelligent and cultured... but she's proper mental, isn't she? lol.
Proper 🧐 mental! 🙃
Envisioning fairies in the woods eating moss...
Proper mental, that's why we love her! Haha
She's just perfect
Shame she so superficial and pretty much gets Botox everyweek
The Pagan and Cyborg combination is fantastic. Yet, Cyborg matched with anyone is magnificent. Also, Bubbles makes any video better. Fun to have a Dermot and Lady E pairing eating food.
Cyborg? She is a little shiny, but I am sure she is all woman.
Is Pagan tiny or is Ciara 5'9" or taller?
Everyone in this world is still a pagan. Culture will defeat religions. Love your forefathers.❤
I am so envious rn. The choley bhature looked soooooo good. I had Indian food for my birthday and lawd... I wanted to weep when it was gone cuz I had no more to eat and no more room in my belly. I love how excited everyone wasfor each dish, even when they had no idea what it was. Pagan and Ciara are like, cousin besties. Dermot and Éadaoin are like a dad with their grown kid who went off to college. Paddy and Callyann are like twins with the positive energy they bring to the table. Ya'll are amazing and always get me to try new things. ❤
Please make a part 2 with the same cast ,, 10/10 we loved them ❤❤❤
This is what you call a real and authentic food reaction, thanks and enjoy Indian cuisine ❤
India is my favourite country to travel!! Highly recommended it is unforgettable but not an easy country to travel depending on your budget of course. Cheers
Budget ?? It's not that expensive here
It is cheaper than America and Europian country
Happy to hear Lovely words from u sir,,You are always welcome here...ATITHI DEVO BHAV🙏
What a lineup today, both the tasters and the food choices !
At this moment I'm just happy that people are trying something new other than Chicken tikka masala and naan 😂
OMG, you guys are such a big reactors! Loved your honest opinions. Gulab jamun is everyone's absolute favourite favourite. At indian weddings it is served hot, sometimes with vanilla ice cream on the side. I'm drooling already 🤤
Now I am too.
its gulab jamun
gulam ,,my fren
not guys, gaf; TNG, niterc; and outlaw marriage
That's soooo true! At this point, those dishes have gone to the point of being 'Spam Indian Food' on RUclips! 😅
A) Chicken Tikka Masala: This one's not even a 'Indian' dish!
B) Butter Chicken: No self-respecting Indian orders this one unless they have
@@RonBhattacharya I'm more inclined towards Indo-chinese cuisines like Mixed Fried rice and Chill Chicken (my fav combo) but if I ever go to a North Indian restaurant I prefer Naan with Daal Makhani or Spicy Chaana Masala because Butter chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala is for babies and spice intolerant people, they're not even 1% spicy 😂
More than anything .. i love the enthusiasm , the curiosity, the respect and love for our culture and food. ..makes me as an Indian soo happy ...i love that u made a video on it .... hope u enjoyed every dish ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for trying and appreciating our food
This was a GREAT shoot!!!! Everyone was loving the food (and each others' company)! Wonderful! It was wonderful to see Eadaoin again--and contrary to what she said about not being a lamb girl, she is however, most DEFINITELY a lamb! Welcome back, Eadaoin!
Great video. Pagan and Ciara would be amazing for the Xmas drink along ….yes that video
That has to be one of the most roundly enjoyed experiences by the Try crew that I have ever seen ...... and it did not involve alcohol.
Gulab Jamun normally served hot with syrup goes great with Vannila icecream
she accidentally discovered the correct way of having choley bhature ... 😆😆
Irish ppl seem so warm. I had a chance to study at UCD but I chose another uni, but now I actually regret that decision after seeing this vid. Irish ppl are so warm and fun....
I love indian food sooooo much and the beautiful thing is all dishes can be made vegan, even the creamy ones.
I love the Irish ppl and they’re accents are so awesome 😂 And love that they are trying different foods 😊
The guy understands everything 9:02 😂
As an Indian it makes me happy to see people appreciating our cuisine. Also glad you got northern Indian dishes in there. :)
I love watching their enthusiasm towards the food.
I am loving the energy an excitement in this video, even i got excited and im not even eating it 😂😂😂 x
I want to hug all of you !!!!! Thank you thank you for loving indian food. Thank you for your love and kindness
This was so wholesome to watch love all of their reactions ❤️:)
The gulub jamun has lots of powdered milk in it, fried and soaked in simple syrup. Yum!
Whenever I order Indian food, I ask them not to "whitenise" the spice for me so it actually has some kick 😂
Come to India and eat in a good restaurant and your eyes will literally open up because you would suddenly realise that whatever you were eating uptill now had only half the taste. Somehow for whatever reason Indian restaurants outside India change the flavour to adapt to the pallet of the local people and considerably change the taste from the original taste.
Same here ❤
😂😂😂😂 right
Ciara's mumbling onion hunt at 4:20 is fantastic.
Oh I love all these people❤❤❤
A big hug from my side to all of them😊😊😊😊
Thank you for putting different items n not the usual stuff
I absolutely LOVE Indian food. It was a delight to see their reactions to these wonderful dishes. One of my fave videos! 🔥🔥🔥
This video was one giant, glorious foodgasm. And yes, it was fun to watch. 😄
Pagan's constant infatuation with Ciara? As she should be 😃
You guys should try Trinidadian food, the Indian food is so different but sooo good
Indian food is a layering of flavors that just explodes in your mouth. It is by far my very favorite. Love how enthusiastic they were
I'm gonna add Indian food to my personal skills list thanks to you guys. You make good stuff look great, and awful stuff look fun.
Good on you Colin for giving the TRYers dessert 👍☮️😊
PLEASE more PAGAN and Ciara together, such a vibe
