But what if the Moon started approaching our planet for some reason? The balance would be broken, and our planet's gravity would change. The Moon would be flying around the planet and getting closer with each circle. It would cause natural disasters in different locations on Earth all the time. But what if it eventually hit us?

For anyone worried, as long as no interference happens between the moon and the earth then this will NEVER happen.
It's happened I believe. When they say that the moon came from a planet hitting us so maybe that was the moon, 4 to 5 billion years ago. And in another 300 million years or even less a event can possibly happen. But everyone everything will perished for millions of years intill we can start having life again. History gone nothing nada to be ever found in a billion or 2 years of humans ever come back. That's why it's important to space travel so humanity can't be destroyed. It's mind-boggling to know 100% that theirs life in another planet. With millions of galaxies that have millions of planets , come on earth it's a universe an a grain of beach sand is the world we in...each grain it's a planet in all beaches combined.

The earth bulges a tiny bit because the moon pulls on it, but the earth is also spinning, which makes the bulge generally in front of the path of the moon’s orbit. Basically there is a tiny bit of mass pulling the moon forward, which slings it into higher orbit, at a rate of like 1 cm a year.
It will never happen anyway.

In reality the opposite is happening. Millions of years ago the moon was much closer to the earth. It has been slowly drifting away and continues to do so. In the future the moon will be further from the earth, not closer.
True! At the current rate of receding, we would lose the moon in about 50 *billion* years. But we are not taking the Sun into account. In about 5 billion years, when the Moon has receded by about 189,000 km at the current rate of receding, the Sun will expand dramatically and become a red giant.
Maybe that’s why I pay attention to the moon. I love our moon it’s so beautiful. I have so much respect for the moon.

I have always asked myself this question. What is the orbit of the moon was to be changed and start spiraling inwards towards the earth ? Would the rotation of the earth suddenly stop and force all the waters of the oceans , which would continue moving at the same velocity, envelope the tiny land mass we call continents ? would that mean only mammals that would survive are dolphins and whales ? Would the life thereafter be only creatures that currently survive in water ? I did not imagine the moon would disintegrate before hitting earth though

Imagiene a rocky Earth like jungle planet that has 4 times the size of our world and takes about 12 years to orbit it's sun like star and has a 36 hours day night cycle. It also has a Mecury sized moon which takes about 340 days to orbit the planet.

The only thing the video left out was that the moon crashing towards Earth is not possible unless another object with massive gravity passes close enough to the moon’s orbit to cause a disruption. In fact, the moon moves away from Earth 1.5 inches (~4 centimeters) each year.

Moon stretches the earth making it looking like egg but earth with rotation moves this thing in front of the moon, This will cause moon dritft into higher orbit.
