On Oct 2, 2023, Northeast Stokes Fire & Rescue participated in a training exercise with South Stokes Fire & Rescue, which focused on using Turbo Drafting to source water for firefighting. The Turbo Drafting method is a reliable and effective technique for quickly acquiring water from nearby sources, such as ponds or rivers, which can be a vital resource in firefighting efforts.
