always have a pen with me. I been carrying Index cards with me, which Ill transfer to my common place or whiteboard when I get home. Mostly just random thoughts or ideas when out n about. Great videos been enjoying them. Cheers
I recently started carrying a pocket notebook where I write my thoughts and contemplate for better self clarity. You express with great clarity and share really valuable insights which has helped my writing immensely.
I am so grateful for your channel. There aren't many people who care about the simple things in life and with you I feel like I'm in good hands with that. You give meaning to simple things. Thank you!
Another great video, bro! I really liked the captions, it can help a lot of people. The idea of answering the same question every day is very interesting, I have several prompts and sometimes I catch myself trying to give the best answer to them, but this idea can definitely help! Keep it up!
Philosopher Gary Cox in his book "How to Be a Philosopher, or How to Be Almost Certain that Almost Nothing is Certain" (Continuum, 2010) wrote something a philosophy teacher of his used to say: "to think is to write". We have some thousands of thoughts everyday, and it's a shame not to write down a few. A few days ago I went to movies with my girlfriend to watch Nosferatu, and an interesting line was spoken (I think "you shall watch the world become as it is not") and pulled out my pocket notebook to write it down. A dude behind me said "what this guy is writing?". Like I did something weird. Ok, if I was going here and there with an A4+ notebook like Rust Cohle from True Detective, it may be too much, but even then, hey, if your aspiration is to be a little DaVinci, you have to record an idea or two out in your everyday life, your own or someone elses, as long as it is food for thought, anything goes. Nice video mate!
I have some of my best thoughts in the shower or when washing dishes. Must have something to do with water! Sadly, by the time I get dry and grab my journal I have forgotten my brilliant thoughts.
I really appreciate your insightful videos on keeping a notebook instead of always turning to a cellphone, but for autistics like me, the embedded subtitles are very distracting and create overwhelm. In this "TikTok world" everybody seems to think they need to add permanent subtitles, but that doesn't work for everyone. Some people have disabilities that require it; others, like me, have disabilities that are hindered by it. Please consider not including permanent subtitles, as it can make the difference between watching or being unable to watch at all.
Im torn. I did a poll recently and with 200 votes I think 95% of ppl said keep them. I get comments thanking me for them. And then occasionally I’ll get a comment like this (I think this is the second time.) I personally like videos with them. But definitely something to think about moving forward. Thanks!

I use index cards for specific tasks as well sometimes. Thank you!
