    Finally caught up after binge watching for couple of nights from the first episode. I want to thank RUclips algorithms for suggesting this channel, I hope you find more subscriber like me bcoz you deserve way more. This channel is Hidden Gem for all the people who loves Algarve, Farm Life, DIY Projects. I have never seen anyone working so hard in such intense hit, hats off to you Andrew. You have made a good decision bringing the bus closer to the house, it will save you lot of time, effort and energy.

      Fantastic comment Bharat, thank you. Guess it takes time for the algorithm to get going. I’m determined to keep going so hopefully it will pick up soon. It takes a lot of effort after doing all the work to then spend endless hours editing and putting these vids together. So it’s cool to see people getting something out of watching them. I’d have a lot more done if I wasn’t videoing everything that’s for sure, but I’m getting the hang of it now and I do these because I enjoy it.

    Even though it was disappointing for you at first, moving the bus near the house seems to be the right decision for you. It looks lovely around the bus too, somewhere for you to relax. Loved the skating boarding ! A man of confidence to be wearing your slip ons. Never too old! 🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    You are crazy! I would have left the bus where it is (for future guests) and rather bought a new bus to put by the house. I'd love to have your energy!

    I feel that moving that bus ‘ again ‘ has made your life a lot easier Andy. I can’t wait to see inside the house though. Gutted about the deck, are you going to re-use it ?

    • @blondguy

      Really has made it a lot easier Alan. I’m gearing myself up for the inside. I’ll do a walk around first before I start tomorrow. Trust me it’s a mess! I’ll re use everything and use the decking on the side or front possibly. I’ll be tucking it away for the time being though.

    Just something to think about, re your bus conversation,we do motorhome and have a home in Portugal.
    Our friend did have a bus conversation, but in winter in Portugal, he did have lined curtains at his windows ,as the glass gets plenty of condensation.
    I know you like the idea of a wood burner in there,but remember every time you open the door smoke escapes, your lovely ceiling and walls will soon change colour.
    If we are on electric, with the motorhome we use the convector heater, it can be turned down low and once under the duvet covers it is comfortable to sleep.
    Keep the wood burner for the lounge or your new living room in the house.
    The wood burner would only be needed for a short period of time in the van. Once the sun comes through the Windows you may end up with it in the middle of the floor area for 10 months of the year out of use.
    Good luck with the crack, enjoying seeing a man work hard.
    Take care ......

    • @blondguy
      @blondguy  3 года назад +1

      Hi Margaret. Originally I was going to cover the windows because I found out on my first night in the bus last October, everything was damp. That’s why I went straight into the house. I am going to rethink the burner. It also takes up a chunk of space at the front which could be useful for other things. I will look into convector heater. Also because of the dogs I’m sure the door will be in constant use making it tricky to stabilise the temp. Thank you for suggestion.

    I looked at one of your later videos 1st before subscribing where the bus was situated where it is now. I was so confused watching you toil away further down the land as I knew that it was moving and the decking would have to go! Enjoying your videos - looking forward to see how your project progresses.

      Thank you, I’m certainly not short on content, but looking forward to mixing it up a bit. That will happen in 2 weeks once I’ve sorted the area for my basic living. I put a lot of time and energy into these videos and a lot is cut out, so it’s rewarding to know someone is enjoying them. I hope I can continue to improve my editing and make them entertaining. Instagram will be set up in next week so it’s there if people would like to see bits I don’t put in videos.. thanks again.

    Hi Andrew I really enjoy watching what you do and I am looking forward to the house remodel but you do blaspheme a lot and as a Christian I will not be able to recommend your channel or continue
    following you. Maybe if you cannot control what you say you could delete it before posting. Regards Billy from South Africa

    • @blondguy
      @blondguy  2 года назад +6

      Hi Billy, I’m careful what I say on camera. However I’m English, we swear, everyone does. It’s part of our vocabulary.. Harmless and fun when not used in an aggressive way. In fact swearing in UK is often used as a term of endearment. I never aim to offend anyone, I think that’s obvious. I hope you can see the positivity and not be so quick to judge. I keep it to a minimum as I said in my first video but I have to be true to myself. I’m sure you can respect that.
      If I’m being honest, I’m not sure what you deem blaspheme? Perhaps you can tell me so I can look out for it. Thanks

    • @billymiller1319
      @billymiller1319 2 года назад

      To blaspheme is to use the word God or Jesus Christ in any way that is not a prayer or a serman. This is also an instruction in the bible. I know lots of people us it for any reason but it is very serious if you do. You can look it up in the bible.

    • @blondguy
      @blondguy  2 года назад +7

      @@billymiller1319 I’m sure God will forgive me Billy. No point being a God if he/she can’t see past words. God will judge me on my character, not my choice of words. Let’s enjoy our similarities not or differences. Tolerance and positivity.

    • @blondguy
      @blondguy  2 года назад +1

      @@billymiller1319 Billy, I will do my very best to not use those words.
