Hi jamie, appreciate you dont like leasehold but i wonder if i can get your opinion on this scenario, given the leasehold reform act that was recently passed into law but not yet implemented... would you go ahead and extend the lease now and try and get a deal with the freeholder or wait until its all implemented?

@@mazzgoldie9149 im now in contact with my freeholder and will attempt a negotiation with them.. im not too worried about how expensive it is i just dont wanna miss out on the 990 year lease extension.
Hi Jamie, I’m in Plymouth and due to it being it very heavy hit in the blitz in WW2 a lot of the house are non-standard construction. So a lot of time when I’m looking for a BTL property around here, somewhere will come up that looks really good u til you realise it’s cash only due to the construction. What are your views on these? Thanks
I'm thinking about my first BTL to be a newly refurbished property of 100k purely to get started and get the ball rolling.
Good or bad points?
