My VERY FIRST macrame project!!! I had a little trouble creating the knots until I learned how they should be handled in my hands. My first coaster came out beautifully. Your instruction is very easy to follow even for a newbie like me. My second item was a coaster pattern that claims to be flat. It curled but your pattern stayed flat. I'm going to be making sets for many people's Christmas gifts using your pattern and video. Thank you for catering to someone like me who's never picked up macrame thread in all my 58 years! ❤️
I love your tutorial. Thanks for including the width of cord that you used. I love how you used the cork too. That is so much easier than what I learned in a different tutorial! Thank u!!
I was looking for tutorial make a coaster and wasn’t able to find one I like until I saw yours❤️ absolutely amazing💖 thank you so much for the writing directions 🙏🏻💐🥰
i tried it out using the instructions, and loved the end results. The instructions are really well explained. I had no issues, and I'm a beginner! Would be good to know if there are instructions for a larger one?
The description box lacked the 3 11inch cords... i was about to do the 17 double half hitch knots but I was lacking the 7 inch cords. Turns out I’ve already used them thinking there were my 11 in cords 😅. Anyways, thanks for this tutorial! Very easy to follow :))
I had used off white thread,it is possible to seperate threads in the end as you have done.what should I do ? Which thread should I use so that I can comb and seperate the ends properly
Bdw great tutorial.. it really helped me a lot. 😍👍🏻 Although I came up with my own measurements for a more perfect coaster of 4mm diameter without fringes.
The instructions are soo hard to understand to me, and I cannot see your hands and what you are doing on the video... not clear at all. Its surely not for the beginners...

Please I wanted to ask how can I measure a 4* 26 in cord to the 55 inch cord because I am making this now thanks! love your amazing great work
I tried this and it came out really good.. Thanks for the detailed explanation 🙂
Beautiful 🤩
This is beautiful .... can we make a small rug using same technique ?
Beautiful
Hey thanks for the tutorial but when I was making it it was such a mess and was creating too much space...can you give some tips to improve it...
Wonderful. Easy to follow. I want to make this. Thank you ❤️
For a bigger coaster how would the measurements change ?
If I wanted to double the size should I double the length of cords, number of cords, and knots between attaching cords?
I had used off white thread,it is possible to seperate threads in the end as you have done.what should I do ? Which thread should I use so that I can comb and seperate the ends properly
Thanks for sharing video

Thank you 😊 Glad you were able to use it as a reference.
Thank you so much 🤍🤍🤍🙏
Lovely👍
These are great! How would you add a color block to these?
I’m going to try this but with 3mm cord. Should I adjust the lengths of the cords at all before doing so?
Awesome
Hope it helped.
If I wanted to make the fringe slightly longer should I add an inch to each of the lengths?
Can you tell the final size of the coaster plz?
Which type of macrame cord to be used?? Because many cords dont brush well. Plz mention.
How can you make all knots with the longest chord only... Mine finished 3 times mid way.
Thanks for the video...it seems easy with measurements and details provided...
Can you please tell the size(diameter) of the coaster made?
Thanks
Mine turned out to be 3 in without the fray
Loved this tutorial. Thank you.
In the description you forgot to write down the 11inch ones
The camera can zoom out a little I can see how u make ur double half hitch knock
hi! thanks for the amazing tutorial, do u think i can make a super huge mat with this technique?
I believe so but it will took a lot of time🤗
Can u tell the measurements for 6" coaster
Total how much metre cord is required
Hi,do you sell this at shopee ? This rope.im from malaysia

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Tão lindo! Obrigada por partilhar
Is that cardboard used for the base?
she pins the project to cork board to hold it still while making it but there’s no backing when finished!
I did one and it went well but the following ones sink or go up, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Someone around here who can help me?
Hi, It seems to me that you might be tighinh the knots tighter for the second one. If you wana do that, you can add extra cords as you go.
@@LMDM!! I tried to make it less tight but it stayed the same 😩. How often should I add rope?
I have the same problems 🥲 I tried to make a loose knot but it’s still not flat
Mine did the same. Submerge your coaster in water for a few minutes. Allow it to dry flat. Worked for mine.
The instructions are soo hard to understand to me, and I cannot see your hands and what you are doing on the video... not clear at all. Its surely not for the beginners...
