My VERY FIRST macrame project!!! I had a little trouble creating the knots until I learned how they should be handled in my hands. My first coaster came out beautifully. Your instruction is very easy to follow even for a newbie like me. My second item was a coaster pattern that claims to be flat. It curled but your pattern stayed flat. I'm going to be making sets for many people's Christmas gifts using your pattern and video. Thank you for catering to someone like me who's never picked up macrame thread in all my 58 years! ❤️

I love your tutorial. Thanks for including the width of cord that you used. I love how you used the cork too. That is so much easier than what I learned in a different tutorial! Thank u!!

I would like to make these bigger, 6, 8, and 10 inches. For hot pots like a trivet and to protect the furniture under plants.

The description box lacked the 3 11inch cords... i was about to do the 17 double half hitch knots but I was lacking the 7 inch cords. Turns out I’ve already used them thinking there were my 11 in cords 😅. Anyways, thanks for this tutorial! Very easy to follow :))

    • @LMDM

Hi, It seems to me that you might be tighinh the knots tighter for the second one. If you wana do that, you can add extra cords as you go.
