to explain the lore as best as i can, Oxaya was locked in the basement after jeff was angry that he had pointy ears, oxaya lives in the basement for years and eventually jimmy finds the key while messing around in max's room (finding a key in the closet) he goes downstairs and finds oxaya in the basement (oxaya looks scary because this is jimmy's point of view) when jeff finds jimmy downstairs he shoots jimmy, we then cut to oxayas own perspective, oxaya views jeff as cruel and heartless, jeff isnt really smiling but to oxaya, jeff enjoyed killing jimmy. jeff leaves oxaya down in the basement and maybe hides the body, he mightve left it downstairs.
