- What do you guys think of this 2023 Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory with the SC Project GP22 exhaust?
FYI, the 2021 - 2023 models are identical.
Should I sell this Tuono V4 WITH or WITHOUT the SC Project GP-22 exhaust?
What would you have done differently?
I LOVE the look of the SC Project GP22 but it’s too loud for me. It turns too many heads. If you like to be the center of attention, this exhaust is perfect for you. BUT…it does produce decent horsepower. Have you seen my dyno video? Check it out here:

What about the Rizoma Stealth mirrors? I love these. There’s no question for me. Bar end mirrors might give you more visibility but they take away from your ability to lane-split (here in California).
But I’d love to know, what would you do differently?
Should we leave the SCProject GP 22 exhaust on it or put it back to stock before we sell it?

I love this bike. Especially that obnoxiously heavenly exhaust. I think the SC Project GP22 exhaust is my new favourite exhaust. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the Rizoma mirrors being that low, I'd definitely get the upgraded adapter to rise the height.
Like Aros said, it's a love hate for me with the GP22. But yeah, the taller Rizoma adapters are probably best for usability.
I used 2023 tuono. Throttle response is very good. Even the stock sound is awesome. I really loved it. Mirrors are awesome 😍
All paths lead to the Tuono V4.

Way beyond my limited mechanical skill to own and service a bike like this - but it sure looks and sounds great.

For the 2020 and below RSV4 and TuonoV4 owners that love the GP22, fitment has been confirmed. I can’t attach a photo obviously but it fits with no modifications and no issues. I’ll have to come by the shop and check out those carbon fiber frame covers Victor ✌️

Not having the bike for reference, it looks like there is an indention in the swingarm for the pipe? That would mean SC used that indention to perfection.

@@2pist That is correct. The indention on the 2021+ swingarm matches perfectly with the GP22. In my opinion that is what makes this swingarm-exhaust combo the most beautiful combo on the market ✌️

Excellent looking bike! Love the Rizoma stealths but didn’t know they came for nakeds.
They do. I love them. They offer good enough visibility, and they add lots of style and sportiness to the bike.

Why would you want to add an RCS reservoir? Also, who did you say that tail tidy was from?
RCS brake master cylinder for more control, not the reservoir. MotoBoxUSA.
I just bought one! Is the exhaust just the slip on? No different headers or collector piece? And do you have to map the engine and what servo buddy do you use?

I have a question, how do you break-in aprilia?
600 Miles, kept under 7/8K RPM. Vary the engine load. Going over 8K occasionally is okay. No revving to red-line or rev limiter. And if you're curious, we did the first service on this one already.

Everything is 10/10 on this bike except the frame. They realy need to upgrade that or find a way to mask that 90ties look
I agree with the look but the frame is part of what makes the bike handle so well. Better than the rest. But I agree about the look.

No mirrors ?
On the Tuono it’s bar end mirrors like the CRG arrows or nothing. Those mirrors belong on full faired bikes like the RSV
Can anyone explain why this V4 does not have the typical "scream" sound but even sounds a bit like a V2?
Because of the "V" configuration.
V engine design and firing order, the Yamaha cp4 cross plane is 4cyl inline and has a unique sound due to crank design and firing order
