It can be both don’t think of mid zone and flat zone as specific zones think of it as areas of the field for mid zone less than 20 yards from the LoS inside the numbers and 10-20 outside (this isn’t entirely true bc mzko sometimes acts as flat zone too) but flat zone is less than 10 yards from the LoS and outside the hash marks. Imo I think mid zone is better
