I have several pairs of these! They break in after a bit but I use a little 1” “flat” cap versus the totally flat one to give the toes a little less “elf” look.
I think these are a fantastic option for weddings. Have a nice heel for the ceremony and then be able to take them off and boogie during the reception! No one will notice your elf toe while you’re busting a move!
Just FYI when you have your wedding dress tailored the bottom will be hem to barley kiss the floor, if the dress drags on the floor by much (especially a few inches) it will be very hard to walk (or dance) in. It’s best to wear the same shoes all day, so if you’re not someone who can wear heels for for 10 hours, it’s best to wear flats from start to finish.
I love that you reviewed these. I always wondered what they were like. I'd love to see a full review of what they're like for a full week honestly. Because I have a feeling that they are not sturdy as a flat because of the lack of base plate. So I wonder if they would last...
Honestly, the love and dedication that is put in each and every video, is absolutely inspirational! I'm always left in awe watching them! Keep up the incredible work! ❤
@@MaidMirawyn that depends? What's your level of "too drunk"? Is it blackout or tipsy? Do you have side effects where your hands shake or not? Does your vision swim? Do you have a high tolerance?
this is exactly what i've been saying about "convertible" shoes since they started marketing them. you can't make a high heel shoe with a sturdy sole that actually supports the foot that can flatten enough to be comfortable and not weird looking as a flat. you just can't. the only way to make a true convertible shoe would be making the sole super flexible which would mean zero support when on a high heel.
@@lana87765 for the shoe to be actually supportive the base plate would have to go all the way from the tip of the shoe to the heel, otherwise a part of the shoe would be flappy and thus not stable enough to be safe. is it doable? yes. but it defeats the purpose of quick and convenient convertible shoe. it would also NOT flatten all the way unless the base plate was completely removable (which is my main point against realistic convertible shoes) because in order for a high heel shoe to work you NEED a curved sole towards the tip. this is inherently incompatible with a flat shoe. the sturdy sole that is present in conventional high heel shoes and that goes from the tip to the heel is necessary to keep your foot in the right position for walking. if whichever part of that sole is soft your foot will have to maintain the position by flexing the muscles which will amplify strain. if you added a base plate between the heel and the ball of your foot, you would still have to make sure that your toes are bent upwards by flexing them constantly. creating a convertible shoe that has the sturdy curved part available for support when in the "high heel" position but is also capable of completely flattening when the high heel is removed would mean a ballet flat with a soft sole that comes with a removable curved sole with a high heel that you can snap onto the shoe. this, again, defeats the purpose of a convertible shoe. you can't make a convertible shoe that simply pops up a heel like it's a bicycle kickstand that is both flexible enough to be comfortable as a flat and supportive as a high heel.
I kind of feel like it needs a certain kind of “ bend and snap”material. Kinda like whatever the material is that they used to use for hair-agami’s back in the day but sturdier. (P.S Excuse my not initially intended legally blond reference! 😂 )
I wore these to my best friends wedding 3yrs ago. I am 5'11 with a size 11 foot, flat feet, and bunions, and THESE ARE THE BEST SHOES FOR A WEDDING I HAVE FOUND! I was able to wear the heel for the ceremony, but then converting it to the flat for the reception was wonderful. And with all the movement and dancing, the 'elf' quality to them was actually beneficial haha. But yeah, for the money I spent on them, to not feel uncomfortable in my footware for 12hrs on my feet was outstanding! That's another thing, you really don't feel like you have to break them in, which is wild. I personally loved the shoes!
I can see them specifically being useful after a long night out so you don’t have to be barefoot or to convert to dancing mode at a party but tbh this might sound unhinged but I usually just dance in heels
I think “high heels with an emergency exit” is the perfect way to describe them! It’s usually later on in the night/work day when you want switch into flats, so this is a great solution for the “emergency” exit. The flat probably just isn’t great for all day wear. I just need them for the emergency exit though, so I’m going to find a pair!
I really like these they're good for going somewhere you wanna wear heels but you know you would be walking a lot, changing into flats makes it more comfortable
I definitely feel like this idea could work with a few revisions to the design. Also, the raised toe is very cute with the white boots. Gives a very perky "These boots are made for walking 💅🏻" look that i really enjoy
I wore them at my wedding and loved them! They were super comfortable throughoutmy entire wedding, but did take some getting used (the week beforehand)
I own a couple of the original Pashion designs and I really enjoy them! I've worn them to weddings and even my own wedding! I would definitely consider buying more in the future
I have a pair of these from the same brand and walking in them as flats is a little weird at first but I wear them as flats way more often because I only walk in the heels for a full 20 minutes before ditching them for the flats. I honestly love them
I had these Sperry flats that were made to be portable for this purpose and they were so nice to have for events! I have flat, sensitivite feet and can only wear sneakers daily so I would really recommend those if they're still around! Kinda want a new pair since mine are ancient 😂
Thats the biggest problem with convertible heels - dealing with the shank (the part under the arch of your foot). Heels need support, which doesn't translate well to flats. Easy conversion usually results in a soft shank, which does not provide the needed support for wearing heels.
Convertible or high heels 👠 with and emergency exit are genius! They will be so handy after a day of walking, networking event, clubbing or a long day at a wedding. All in all, love ❤️ the idea!!
I think they are a great idea! I love to wear heels but if I’m out for the entire day eventually I’m sick of them and to be able to flip over to flats would be awesome. Especially when traveling!
Get orthotic inserts for your shoes! My doctor wrote a prescription for some and they custome made them! Changed my flat footed life! They make my whole body feel better because I'm not pronating, like my knees, hips, back ect
I think this would be really good for an event where you want to wear high heels but also know at the end of the night that you're gonna want to take the heels off. Maybe a wedding and you can dance in the flats but then put the heels back on for pictures and things like that.
I could also see that with the right outfit or slight change of wardrobe, the short heels are "work" shoes that can transform into "night out" or "event" shoes.
I got these for my wedding shoes! They were amazing and pretty comfy for ceremony photos and all the niceties but when the dance floor opened, boom heels off for party time! I still wear them occasionally for fancier affairs
Yes, the fact so few shoes can be resoled nowdays really bugs me, historically you'd keep he uppers of a shoe going for way longer by replacing the whole sole but that's not possible anymore due to how they make them. Such a waste to have to throw a whole shoe away just because the sole us worn down.
I’ve seen another brand that the material they use for the bottom of the shoe is more flexible and it flattens out instantly but then when you want to make them heels you have to add an extra piece to make it more sturdy
I have the 1.0 version and I quite like them. They start out stiff and get a little better (shape and attaching the parts gets easier) but they are still not perfectly flat.
Wow, thank you for being an early customer + for the support! We would love for you to get to try out our new Pashion 2.0 design, as we've made improvements to the soles for flexibility!
@@pashionfootwear Good to know. Maybe I'll save up again to get a pair. I'm hesitant to buy new ones because of the price but I aspire to own the ankle boots.

Those kind of Shoes did exist in Germany a few years ago, unfortunately, the company went bankrupt and I never had the chance to buy a pair...I think they solved the "elf-problem" by having some kind of mechanism to bend and lock the sole to the different hights of the heel. These are definitely made to go out in! At the end of the night you won't need to be walking without shoes because you can just switch them into a funky flat shoe to walk home😂
We just used to put a pair of ballet shoes in our bag and would change into those if we need to.
@@louisejohnson6057 thats so smart!
@@louisejohnson6057 Yeah, with my feet, that was never a good option. My feet desperately need more cushion than any ballet slipper ever had. I have to add inserts to every pair of shoes, which means those shoes will only fit in my bag if it's of the "overnight" size.
Gone are the days of ending up barefoot! 😌
See I just don't understand this. If heels are so uncomfortable you can't wear them, then don't. It's possible to get comfortable heels, buy those instead of the latest cheap fashion trend
I follow the creator on TikTok…pretty cool shoes! And yes they are meant to be “flats in case of emergency,” like after a night out and can’t take the heels anymore kinda thing.
So so cool to see our TikTok friends over here on RUclips, too! 👋🏼
I have two pairs and I love them.
So glad you are loving your Pashions 😊🥰@@lefish5277
I have emergency foldable flats. I wonder if it’s just easier to change into them instead of swapping out a heel
so why do you even wear heels in the first place ?
I recently bought a pair of these for a wedding! They were honestly ideal, as someone who doesn't wear heels much and didn't want to carry a whole second pair of shoes with me to dance in
So happy to hear you loved your convertible heels! Truly a wedding lifesaver, right?!
@@pashionfootwear Saved my feet and made me look extremely cool in front of all of the other women. They were all big fans
"A little elf" 😂😂 to me they look like perfect introvert disguise: one moment fancy night out, the next "I need to run home and hide from people"
I swear, you wouldn't think about how it looks like elf shoes at the end of the day when you're already exhausted and all
Made for clubbin
Being able to change to flats at the end of a night out is a lifesaver
just put a pair of ballet flats in your bag
@@silverkitty2503right! At least they're cute. These convertible heels are all ugly as fnck. ☠️🤡☠️🤦♀️🙅🤷♀️ I know she's being paid to be nice about them but I'm always amazed by those who actually wear them in real life. They're ugly as hell and the literal worst of BOTH worlds. They're ugly old lady heels. And they're ugly granny flats. I swear they're made by granny's FOR granny's. ☠️🤦♀️🙅🤷♀️🤣

I have several pairs of these! They break in after a bit but I use a little 1” “flat” cap versus the totally flat one to give the toes a little less “elf” look.
agree that the sock bootie shoe is the better of the two!!
How water resistant is it. Having a hole like that seems like if it was raining youd have water get in easy
I think these are a fantastic option for weddings. Have a nice heel for the ceremony and then be able to take them off and boogie during the reception! No one will notice your elf toe while you’re busting a move!
And if you have something floor length it would cover them
Just FYI when you have your wedding dress tailored the bottom will be hem to barley kiss the floor, if the dress drags on the floor by much (especially a few inches) it will be very hard to walk (or dance) in. It’s best to wear the same shoes all day, so if you’re not someone who can wear heels for for 10 hours, it’s best to wear flats from start to finish.
I say embrace the elf toe, could make for some great pics 😆
I love that you reviewed these. I always wondered what they were like. I'd love to see a full review of what they're like for a full week honestly. Because I have a feeling that they are not sturdy as a flat because of the lack of base plate. So I wonder if they would last...
Honestly, the love and dedication that is put in each and every video, is absolutely inspirational! I'm always left in awe watching them! Keep up the incredible work! ❤
These are “I’m too drunk for these heels” shoes. Perfect!
But if you’re too drunk for heels, do you still have the dexterity to swap out the heels?
@@MaidMirawyn that depends? What's your level of "too drunk"? Is it blackout or tipsy? Do you have side effects where your hands shake or not? Does your vision swim? Do you have a high tolerance?
this is exactly what i've been saying about "convertible" shoes since they started marketing them. you can't make a high heel shoe with a sturdy sole that actually supports the foot that can flatten enough to be comfortable and not weird looking as a flat. you just can't. the only way to make a true convertible shoe would be making the sole super flexible which would mean zero support when on a high heel.
But with the additional base plate would that not make it more sturdy?
Right, people don’t understand good high heels will have a steel shank to support your arch to help distribute the weigh on your foot.
@@lana87765the plate makes it sturdy as a heel, but it doesn’t give it the flexibility as a flat shoe to not curve up like elf shoes
I kind of feel like it needs a certain kind of “ bend and snap”material. Kinda like whatever the material is that they used to use for hair-agami’s back in the day but sturdier. (P.S Excuse my not initially intended legally blond reference! 😂 )
Okay but can we appreciate that smoothly executed video loop like A1 editing right there
That was def top tier
Sounds chronically online.
The hand gestures said it all girl!!!😂😂😂😂
The laugh I loved the most in the entire video .... this type of laughs hits different.... cuz I also have that one 😂😂😂😂... loved it lady 💗🤗😁🎀
sounds like the solution to "god these heels are killing me i'll just go barefoot"
The arch part that is not bending flat is called the shank. It's usually made of metal so it makes sense that it wouldnt be able to adpt completely.
I know there are different brands. You should do a convertible heel showdown and see which ones are best!
This!
Yes!
If i'm not mistaken the other brand went bankrupt a year ago or so
@@sekar9901 Oh dear. I wonder which one. The Vice Versa brand seems to be still going strong
@@kayoungthompson6893 it's mime et moi. They closed their business during covid
The product is very suitable for models who travels I’d say. Also using it as an emergency shoe product is a genius way to put it :D
This sounds great for an unexpected long walk situation, or by end of the night feet in agony move
You get it! High heels with an escape hatch 🤭
I have these, and they absolutely rule for weddings or going into work. They’re awesome.
*YOU* ARE AWESOME! Thank you for the love!
A full video of these and styling them and wearing them out for a week should be a thing!
Children’s voices matter! Thank you for covering this devastating topic. I hope these kids are able to grow and heal after this horrible situation.
Wrong vid
I can see them specifically being useful after a long night out so you don’t have to be barefoot or to convert to dancing mode at a party but tbh this might sound unhinged but I usually just dance in heels
“Heels with an Emergency exit” 😂😂
I laughed out loud 😂😂
I am here for the ELF VIBES!!!! It may look funny to you, but I am in love with the subtle elfness❤️ 😍 Fairytale day wear
Elf core🧝🏼♀️🍀😂
I love it too! it just looks so pointy and elegant!
Definitely a feature not a bug! 😊
Avoids the walk of shame carrying your shoes home at the end of the night.
Honestly with a elf-like or fairy like outfit and the shoes in black the points actually might look cool
There have been times I've wanted emergency exit flats. And those flat heels are easier for an evening bag than a pair of ballet flats.
Pashions are calling your name 😏
Plus you don't have to carry the high heel shoes once switching these heels like you do when carrying flats! I'm tempted!
I really like these they're good for going somewhere you wanna wear heels but you know you would be walking a lot, changing into flats makes it more comfortable
We might be biased, but we couldn't agree more!
This is so fun, I worked with the founder of Pashion in urdergrad, its awesome to see how far the brand has come! 😊
I definitely feel like this idea could work with a few revisions to the design.
Also, the raised toe is very cute with the white boots. Gives a very perky "These boots are made for walking 💅🏻" look that i really enjoy
Perfect end transition.

“High heels with an emergency exit” is so perfect. And poetic 🤣🤗
I wore them at my wedding and loved them! They were super comfortable throughoutmy entire wedding, but did take some getting used (the week beforehand)
THE ART IS SO GOOD I LOVE ITTTTT 😭😭😭💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
I believe they’d be best for those nights you wanna wear the heel but when the night is over and your feet hurt turn em into the flats to go home lol
I actually really love the “elf” shape the flats have. It looks so elegant and almost ballerina-like to me
That laugh sounded like the one vampires do in the Sims 4
It's one of those "good in theory, bad in practice" situations
Thats the biggest problem with convertible heels - dealing with the shank (the part under the arch of your foot). Heels need support, which doesn't translate well to flats. Easy conversion usually results in a soft shank, which does not provide the needed support for wearing heels.
Thats what the added plate is for. To add support
@@PercabethYesssssounds too fiddly at that point.
I love the emergency exit idea!
Welcome to our footwear revolution!
Convertible or high heels 👠 with and emergency exit are genius! They will be so handy after a day of walking, networking event, clubbing or a long day at a wedding. All in all, love ❤️ the idea!!
"High heels with an emergency exit" is f😂king ✨️*_flawless._* ✨️
I think they are a great idea! I love to wear heels but if I’m out for the entire day eventually I’m sick of them and to be able to flip over to flats would be awesome. Especially when traveling!
We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
Convertible heels truly are the ultimate wedding shoes! Well, according to our endless reviews from brides and guests, anyway... 💃
That’s what they were made for honey
I could also see that with the right outfit or slight change of wardrobe, the short heels are "work" shoes that can transform into "night out" or "event" shoes.
The fact that "the emergency exit" fits in purse is super convenient.
I got these for my wedding shoes! They were amazing and pretty comfy for ceremony photos and all the niceties but when the dance floor opened, boom heels off for party time! I still wear them occasionally for fancier affairs
I always trust Safiya to have answers to the questions that pop up in my head randomly at 3am.
I like the idea of being able to wear the heels out for the night and have the flat caps in my purse for emergencies
I also like the idea of having different heels to attach to a shoe to change the look. Like block heels for an outdoor event or stilettos for indoor
High heals with an emergency exit? Perfect for Cinderella!!
Surely I wasn't the only one that thought this was Matpat at first 😳
Honestly genius for environmental reasons too. If your herl breaks you get a new heel to put on instead of a new shoe
Yes, the fact so few shoes can be resoled nowdays really bugs me, historically you'd keep he uppers of a shoe going for way longer by replacing the whole sole but that's not possible anymore due to how they make them. Such a waste to have to throw a whole shoe away just because the sole us worn down.
love your content and your nail polish! cant wait for the second release!
I’ve seen another brand that the material they use for the bottom of the shoe is more flexible and it flattens out instantly but then when you want to make them heels you have to add an extra piece to make it more sturdy
What brand?
@@stepahead5944 oof I’m not sure it was years ago that I saw those brands being advertised 🤧 and I can’t find them anymore so idk at all
These ones have the extra piece that attaches to the bottom - the "stelo"

Omg the flats are hilarious! I could never take myself seriously in those

Me, the social media manager, wondering how I can use this exact quote without getting fired for profanity... BECAUSE EXACTLY 🤭 👏🏼
I have the 1.0 version and I quite like them. They start out stiff and get a little better (shape and attaching the parts gets easier) but they are still not perfectly flat.

I’ve seen these! I’m not sure if you did this, but supposedly you take out the main support when you convert to flats, and they should be really flexible (never tried, just seen many a tiktok on them)
yes, we took out the support!! it was certainly flexible - but just still a bit pointy
Those kind of Shoes did exist in Germany a few years ago, unfortunately, the company went bankrupt and I never had the chance to buy a pair...I think they solved the "elf-problem" by having some kind of mechanism to bend and lock the sole to the different hights of the heel.
Edit: they were from munich and were called "mime et moi"
I just looked that up. The shoes are exquisite on their own AND they have three different heel heights and styles. Oh my goodness 🤩
That's a shame. I like there concept a lot better and it makes sense for the "flat" to still have a little block heel to avoid the eld problem.
The loop transition was perfect
Most honest review lol, totally fair just to have an "emergency" flat situation
