When i heard more details th what was in P Morris books abt the past sin, I immediately saw Jesus, & His blood covered this sin. The Word says He doesn't remember our sins if we repent, as far as the east is fr th west He forgets, so how can I remember someones old sin.I stand w Father God, Yeshua, Holy Spirit....❤

Oh Jesus, I need to repent because I know now I have not properly grieved or expressed my feelings about the situation with Pastor Robert Morris. How I actually felt like God had let me down, how I started to question the purity of the Church and the leaders that I have leaned on to teach me the word of God. I started questioning everything about what I thought I knew and questioning who I could trust. I pray for Pastor Morris and his family. My feelings about this situation are so confusing but I do know that Pastor Morris is just like me, he's human and he's a sinner that needs a Savior and above all I know that HE DESERVES FORGIVENESS and that his mistake does not define him as a person. He is not the mistake he made, thanks to God and God alone. We need your help through this Jesus. Amen
Joleen, I am right there with you. I thought I was the only one to feel doubt and confusion for leaning on Pastor Morris to teach me the Word. If we are not the only ones than that means the enemy is using this situation to bring doubt and confusion to the body of Christ. We must remain in prayer! God bless you body of Christ! I would agree, except that ge did this for FOUR years!! And only stopped when she told her parents. Then he spent years not taking accountability for the enormous damage and pain that he caused this child even in to adulthood. He went so far as to even put the blame on her. He deserves forgiveness and prayer but he also deserves to never be in leadership again. I hope he recovers and can share his story. For miss Clemishire, I pray she has healing and restoration from this deep damage. Prayers for both families and for Gateway congregation! All my love.
I needed to hear this today. My heart has been so heavy laden for my family that I was beginning to fall into pushing it away because I did not want to feel it. Today, I have asked God to soften my heart and bring restoration of love back to myself and my family. As I said to my son, one day when he had really gotten on my nerves and was ready to yell at him, I dont want to be like that. The list of burdens is long, and I need other believers who will lift me up rather than judge and condemn me.
I don’t even go to Gateway... I live in Cincinnati OH! Lol! God is so faithful though, to lead us to the VERY thing we need to hear at the exact moment we need it. This messages pierced right through the epicenter of a relational situation that I absolutely needed to surrender to Jesus and repent for and allow Him to change my heart. I am not a follower of Gateway but Dr. Evans. This helped me with my grieving of what is going on with him. It seems so easy to follow Man not God. Lisa had several great takeaways for me: that grief is a sign of belief is one of them.
Acknowledge your hurt. Just remember God will be the One who rightfully judges. I have followed Pastor Robert for years and I was completely gobsmacked by this. It crushed me. I cannot forget all that I learned from him through the years. I continue to shed tears over what has happened and I ask God to continue the healing process in all. I'm glad that God judges and not other humans.

Timothy 1:15 “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” After preaching the words of GOD and started Gateway church for the past 25 years, having brought millions to Christ, I just wanted to pray for Pastor Robert in this difficult time to experience Christ's forgiveness and His grace will see him thru. Prayers also go to the family. Jesus challenges us to cast the first stone for those who are without sins, period.

I’m not over being angry with the elders, and with Pastor Morris’ accuser-he confessed it all(so we were told) 37 years ago-not last week!!
