It’s a very interesting discussion. It raised many questions about poverty but did not offer solutions to reduce it . Anyways my belief is if a family wants to move out from poverty to let’s say lower middle class bracket , it can do so in one or two generations. It does not mean that they will become super rich but they can get out of poverty
It's always better to listen to the podcast of not so familiar personalities than watching the mainstream media. Thanks to both of you for making my hour productive and informative

Phr agr koi ghareb hai to na wo aschi parhai dila sakta ha apny bachon ko na aschy hospital ilaj kara sakta ha aor na aschi khoorak khila sakta hai. Aor sab se zada zulam bh usi tabqa par hota hai.

Imho, poverty is only interpreted as a personal failure, as n when it’s being spoken of from a perspective of privilege. Otherwise, it is just not possible to look at collective poverty (incase of a nation) and say that that’s an inadequacy/shortcoming of all these affected people and only they are themselves to be blamed or worse bear the burden alone. Not only continuous sensitisation of attitudes/outlook of the privileged towards the less fortunate should be the priority of a zeitgeist but much, much larger steps such as pro-people policies, checks and balances, accountability of the decision makers and institutions combating the ultimate evil known as *corruption* are a MUST in any functioning of a democratic nation. It ensures longevity, prosperity, high social standing in the world and ultimately survival. Reminds me of an adage that goes, “Paisa agar KHUDA nahi toh KHUDA sey kam bhi nahi”.😌
P.s.- I don’t ALWAYS write (or read as a matter of fact) but when I do I just hope to hopefully make some sense lol.✌🏻

But people and muftis say, also we have read in quran translation that Allah will test you with hunger, fear etc. If anyone ask this question then this answer is given by every person. Then what to say?
Then say, that in order to pass that test from Allah, one needs to do, tadbeer (strategy), dua (supplication) and sadqa (charity) as told by The Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
