What was the original production date of this documentary? It doesn't look super recent from the tech and fashion. I'm watching in 2020, but wonder if it was made 10 or 20 or however many years ago, how much more recent research has been done since this was made.
Yes, in March of 2020, the Dead Sea scrolls were proven to be forgeries, which many of us believed for their entire public existence.
The scrolls that were proven fake were at a Museum of the Bible in the US. Those scrolls were "discovered" in the 2000s. The Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in 1947 and held at a Museum in Israel are, however, not forgeries, and even predate Jesus' birth. The Dead Sea Scrolls make a point that the Bible has been accurate and consistent for thousands of years. Because of this, it's prophecies, especially regarding the Messiah, need to be considered and evaluated. Why? Because the prophecies telling of the Messiah, number between 456 to 574, and Jesus fulfilled at least 300 of those prophecies while on this earth, and the rest He will fulfill when He returns. If this is the case then we now need to seriously consider Jesus' claim of being the Messiah. Because, as C.S Lewis said, for the things that Jesus said and did, he cannot be considered a great moral teacher; he was either a lunitic, the devil himself, or is truly the Messiah, and if He is the Messiah (which He is), then we must surrender ourselves to Him.
The scrolls prove that both they and Jesus believed that the Jews at Jerusalem had changed the calendar of the ancient Hebrews from it's original form and the day of the ancient Hebrews from it's original form in as prophesied in Daniel 7:25.

As Daniel's prophecy states, the Jews of the period when the Dead Sea Scrolls were written had changed the "times and laws." The Scrolls confirm that those who wrote them believed that their fellow Jews were worshipping at incorrect times and according to incorrect laws as those mandated by the Scriptures. It is also clear from the New Testament Gospels that Jesus held the same views as those who wrote the Scrolls.

Written in the years between 30 and 66CE, the absolute lack of any mention of christ is GLARING in its absence. However they DO reference a ‘Righteous Teacher’...a ‘good man’...who walks with a group of 12, and who has a tough time with the Pharisees. They also reference Eucharist and baptisms (ritual cleansing). It is clear that the IDEA of Christ was still evolving at the time, and hadn’t been ‘hammered out’ yet.
If you’re secure in your faith, none of this should bother you. If you’re not and SCARED, living in a constant FEAR-DRIVEN mindset of faith and god, then you will do anything and everything to twist science, deny science, ANYTHING...to make sure that it’s disproved not just for me, for others, but for yourself. Otherwise you won’t be able to sleep at night.

The dead sea scrolls tells us that Jesus was not the well known character described in the New Testament.
But they do tell us a great deal about Yahweh, the Hebrew god and the wide range of beliefs and customs among the ancient Hebrew tribes.

jed ob1 You couldn’t be MORE wrong, and are using jumbles or words and misplaced ‘facts’ to once again, challenged the ‘scary’Carbon-14 dating because nothing can challenge your belief system - therefore you live in a constant state of confirmation bias.
These scrolls have been tested at 3 separate labs across the world- all concur, even though the techniques differed. You cannot defeat science, even when you think you know enough of science (which you don’t) to twist it.
That was the Museum of the Bible, not the originally sourced ones. Want sources?
There is no such thing as old Hebrew...it is the same today as it was 3000 years old. It's god's language and they have preserved it

My question is why do they always white wash the images of the Hebrew Israelites ? They were and still are a black race of people ! Yes Christ was black. Question 2, Noah had 3 sons, one was called Ham ( the progenitor of the Africans ), Ham had 4 sons, one was call Cush/Kush, Cush became the Ethiopians, we know their color. If the Ethiopians are black, the 3rd generation from Noah, then what color was Ham's brothers Shem ( Hebrew bloodline ) and Japheth ? What color was Noah ?
