Awesome hiking trail Norm, could use a little work like you pointed out , great information on the trail, interesting seeing the old cemetery, that was a nice beach, great spot to go and relax. Thanks for taking us along.

Great vid Norman , too bad about that cemetery is not being taken care of. Another great could be scenic trail that could be a great project is to be able to go down to the islands via the shore line and come back the existing path .

Thanks Garry! A shore line trail down to the islands would be amazing!

The beaches are a bit different in Newfoundland than here in Prince Edward Island. Looks isolated and lonely but very beautiful in a way. Thanks for sharing

The beach I went to is mostly comprised of slate rock which is common here on Random Island. We do have some nice sandy beaches here in Newfoundland as well. For example - there's quite a large sandy beach in the town of Lumsden that's similar to a beach one may find in the tropics - just that the water is much, much colder.

Looks awesome. Ever run into a moose along your travels?

Not too many. Only twice have I seen one in the woods. Seen a few over the years crossing or hanging around by a highway or roads while travelling by car. On Random Island, there used to be alot of moose, you'd see one pretty much every day. Now you'd be lucky to see one once a year.
