Fascinating to watch how the internals work. About four months ago my front door failed, something broke and the square hole where the spindle goes through snapped. Guy came and replaced the gear box but said mine was quite an old type. He swapped it out and it just didn't seem to operate properly for about a month then started working OK. I don't think that people realise the info base you have to have and the technical side of it either. Locksmithing isn't just picking a lock, in fact that might be what 50% or 60% of the job. Thanks for a great video. I now understand how this centre case works. I had the top reversable latching pinion break and had to modify a new one (remove latch and lock as the double doors had a center spacing piece) to get both top and bottwn pins to operate. The stuff on the Euro lock was invaluable. Cheers
