As a seventeen year old, hearing all of this drama about relationships makes me so glad that I’m single. I’ve never had a boyfriend and although I like boys, they aren’t my priority right now, school is. My main focus is graduating right now. After high school, I plan on attending college to become an English teacher and my mother has always encouraged me to live my life. She encourages me to wait until I’m financially stable to settle down with marriage and children, along with keeping my credit clean so I can buy a home. And I’m sticking to her advice and finally fulfilling my dreams of going to college. The last thing I’m worried about is being somebody’s baby mama.

Summer doesn’t think highly of herself and it shows through actions. She believes she deserves these type of guys, we see more worth in Summer than she does and that’s the problem.
Summer is too talented and successful to be dealing with these losers. These toxic romances are taking a toll on her mental health. And it’s transparent through the things she says and the behavior that she exhibits on social media. She’s “moving on” too fast in these relationships without giving herself the time to heal and instead of doing that, she’s continuing to allow men dog her out and in addition to popping out babies back and forth all while continuing the pattern of dysfunctional relationships. Hence why I have little sympathy for her because she continues to fall into the trap of philandering men while simultaneously acting like a foolish, lovesick teenager at the age of twenty seven. She’s a prime example of being all about a man.

You really make a great point about Summer not being healed. It’s clear seeing her jump from man to man. And I lowkey can relate because I fight with myself to stay single and heal but my desire to be loved makes me want a man again. On a positive note, at least I’m self aware and I’m doing my best to work on it. I hope she chooses to do the same for her sake and the sake of her children but time will tell. 🤷🏾♀️
Summer strikes me as a person that’s all about a man. There’s nothing wrong with looking for love, but Summer is not resetting her mind and giving herself time to heal from the wounds that were inflicted upon her from her previous relationships. She’s too talented and brilliant for these worthless clowns. What she needs to start doing is loving herself before letting another man love her and just focus on the musical gift that God gave her and her children.

I do agree with @lisag.4054 that with them showing their true colors helps us make the decision on if we want to support them or not.

summer walker is a special kind of pick me that flies under the radar. summer heavily plays into this “not like other girls trope”. she often mentions it in her music and on her spam page. she thinks her spirituality and how “in tune she is” puts her above average women and celebrity women. which is a separate conversation in itself as i do not understand how someone who claims to be so evolved spiritually vibrates so low and clearly lacks a lot of self love from the relationships she gets in to the body modification she has. but summer enters all these relationships with the mindset he’s never had anyone like me and i will be the answer. and it’s never that. i’m lowkey starting to feel like maybe summer walker isn’t the best person? and maybe the things that are happening to her in these relationships aren’t just the result of poor self love, but also a little bit of karma until she gets out of the mindset that she’s somehow superior to other women.

This is a prime example of how it’s dangerous to be surrounded by yes men or people making the same dumb decisions as you. She still believes that she’s a catch after 3 babies by 2 different men, a load of mental health issues and a reputation for being ratchet and attention seeking. Just because u tell yourself that you’re a queen and your friends and fans validate you doesn’t mean that the opposite sex actually sees you that way. If the roles were reversed and it was a 3 time ratchet baby daddy expecting a woman to come along & marry him & play stepmom to his kids, we’d collectively agree that he’s not as high value to women as he thinks he is. Same goes for her. I wasn’t surprised Summer Walker and Meech broke up. The compatibility and lifestyles between both parties were off to me. Summer Walker should have stay single and don’t date because of past relationships trauma. Meech don’t seems like a dating type and should focus on his career. Reopening the trauma to escape the trauma I’d been through is exactly the reason why I always go back to this one particular guy who I’ve had history with. Every time I get hurt by someone, I go to him expecting some kind of comfort, but it never happens. Despite the hurt he’d caused me from back then, it didn’t amount to the pain I’d went through with the other situation I was in with someone else 2 years ago, and I know I’d be hurting myself dealing with him again bc I already know what he’s capable of doing, so I can’t be upset with him, I’d have to be upset at myself 😭🤦🏾♀️

Something I’ve noticed about Summer … she can’t say she dropped the ball somewhere w/o throwing someone else into it.
