How can severely rotten wood be revived?

Thank you for watching the Foxfire Channel.
This time, we dug up a piece of wood that had been left outside for more than 10 years and was half buried in the soil, and reborn it by sawing it into lumber. The inside is very beautiful, and it looks like it can still be used, so I'm going to try making something with this wood from now on.
