When Michael asked that question to Ennard, Seeing Past Ennard answer like that, Is what I would expect, Cause like even Ennard knows It's just wrong and weird to date the person who Murder you. Enn is right in a way It is due to the unhealed pain and suffering he went through and the love he never received throughout his childhood. Michael getting Attached to a person(his murderer no less) cause he started caring about him feels so mentally wrong that would never been pictured back then for Michael & Ennard. (The Stockholm syndrome goes hard with them😅) But despite the wrong in this relationship Ennard isn't fully Opposed to being with Michael seeing how he still cares for him and now married to him in present. Michael words, Gave me a sign of how far he fell in this love. He doesn't care anymore, doesn't want better, doesn't want proper. He just wants Ennard, The ONE person who gave him the love he always wanted, yet currently doesn't care about him killing him anymore. While I am reading the bond(old & remaked one) it's still funny how it's a actual Enemies to Lovers that develop through time and communication, even going by the wrong within this relationship. In my Perspective it gives a honest showcase of realism with relationships that is considered Stockholm syndrome, but in a very different way of being shown. Yet they made this relationship work, it's actually healthy in present✋😭 My favorite part is how poetic and sweet Ennard's words were at the end. It puncture my heart like empire class fire Nation battleship leaving thousands to drown at seas🤩. In Conclusion: Kalin's EnnChael is the most lore invested Dynamic I've ever Seen.
