Wow thank you for this video. I was specifically wondering if the stem mount would clear the Street Triple handlebar. I even asked PD if they happened to know.
Picked one up after this vid, you werent kidding the case is awesome, wasnt a fan of my previous mount system it was just bulky, and my handelbar space is quite limited.
How's the vibration dampening? My buddy's mount didn't dampen well enough and ruined his phone's camera. It looked like it was but over time dead camera. Great looking design!
I have been riding with mine for over a year with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and now about 2 Months with my 15 Pro Max and have noticed no issues, keep in mind Peak Design did a ton of testing before releasing this product to market.
Does anyone know if the PD mount will mount on something smaller than standard handlebars? I'm wanting to mount this on my Vespa, and the only spot it would work would be on the stem of the mirror.
When I tested the Hayabusa recently it was a 2023 model and I used the stem mount on it, it worked great, here is the link: peak-design.pxf.io/vNkkd3 Also if you check out my Hayabusa videos on the channel you can see me using it.
@@FifthNorththank you so much Bro!! Here is a silly question. I would like to install the HeliBars Handlebar Risers giving a 25mm rise to the bars. Do you think that the peak design stem mount would still work?
@@markmaser4658 I cant say for 100% sure, but I am about 90% sure it will as 25mm is less than an inch and the mount has more than an inch in height adjustment available.
I got the PD phone case & use it with the Evotech Performance Handlebar clamp for a slicker install. PD really need to develop a wireless Moto charger.
Nice design. however, they have VERY limited cases for phones..... Not to mention the motorcycle mount alone is 100 bucks. If they had a case that fit my phone, I would probably buy.
Yeah agreed on the limited case selection, hopefully they will continue to expand their selection. Thankfully they make one for my phone as I love the system overall.
The version that im using doesnt and honestly I dont want it to, i had a charging one from a different brand in the past and all it did was overheat my iphone as my phone was charging in direct sunlight while riding in the summer and using gps.
@@FifthNorth well i have quadlock and it works fine and all, i think the quality from peak is much better. But i will not change until they have a charger…. Navigation without that and you phone battery is empty in one hour.
@@johanstrampraat1684 exactly the brand i tried and it overheated my phone, also to your point pd quality is way better and the case is a million times better, the quadlock case was too bulky for me. As for gps, on my 15pro max i can go 5ish hours gps on one charge and I never ride that long in one go so it isnt a problem for me. But everyone has different needs so I get it. Btw thanks for watching! Much appreciated.
Have you tried the Peak Design Moto Mount and Everyday Case?
I asked what you were using on one of your busa vids, thanks for the link, this thing looks dope, ill have to check it out for my Trident.
Wow thank you for this video. I was specifically wondering if the stem mount would clear the Street Triple handlebar. I even asked PD if they happened to know.
I used your affiliate link but it leads to the bar mount. I navigated to the stem mount and ordered it so hopefully you benefited from that.
Ah that's awesome to hear! Im glad that I was able to help! I highly recommend the stem mount it lines up perfectly on my RS.

@@LifeSOSlive Thank you I appreciate the kind words. Enjoy your Svart! They are fun bikes!
I second this statement! I have the stem mount and its awesome!
Glad to hear you love it!

Check out their KickStarter, they are developing new mounts aside from just step and bar, might be something in there that might work for you.
thanks for including the links!!

Is the stem mount going to fit on the latest Ducati Panigale v4S?
That I am not sure on…would be a question for Peak Design directly.
It still doesn’t charge your phone????
