JD is 1000% right, you're not a hardened criminal. Any woman who wants to judge you because you were an outgoing teen, running a legal business who just got into deep, without knowing what you were doing was a crime. Ian, don't rush it, its not worth wasting a year or 3 with a woman only to get hurt, build up yourself, you'll attract the future mother of your kids and the woman you grow old with.

Ian, JD, me and my wife married 6months after meeting, as you said brother. When you know, you know man, she has been a huge help in my recovery, I am 13 years clean because 7 of it she was there to help in the hard times, thank you Ian for doing this Interview, JD’s story is truly amazing, and the world should hear his story. Love you brothers!
JD talks about how the gym was/is an important part of his recovery and routine often. I know the same is true for my loved one. Has he thought about starting a foundation/partnering with a gym to provide memberships to those in recovery? Gyms aren’t cheap and that was the first thing my loved one was worried about. Newly released, in recovery, and getting back on his feet…paying for a gym membership was hard. Food for thought! Love you guys together and JD’s perspective on recovery and reentry has helped me tremendously.
My 2 favorite fellas! Awesome show ❤. Thank you both for putting so much time, care, and energy into each episode you put out individually and together.
Loved JD's comment about Mama Tut being "...a beam of Light in a dark universe..." - fundamentally it is a battle between Light and the darkness. Always a pleasure to stand in the Light you two cast! The world is a happier place when you two are speaking. Thank you.
It did so well because JD has an intoxicating personality and energy. He's the reason I'm subbed to your channel. Wouldn't have known about you had I not followed him.
WHAT ?? WHO SAYS SOMETHING DISGUSTING ABOUT THE DEATH OF A CHILD??? That's unreal. JD seems so different from the last interview - wise and gentle and insightful and a great asset to his community. The level of information and amount of food for thought from this interview was outstanding. Well done, JD and Ian.
Was not expecting the mama tot mention, JD is such a powerful and inspirational force of good in the world, and that was just the cherry on top. GREAT interviews, I found these through the episode with the school shooter. I had actually stumbled upon his TikTok account sharing his story, then through watching/listening to all his videos I found his interview here and I’ve been listening to them non-stop. Amazing work!!!
Love how JD is taking what he went through and came through to make changes and positive impacts in his community. You and him together can do great work as long as your paperwork is good lol 😂. Great videos Ian. Keep them coming!
*"People spend entirely too much time and effort trying to fill their holes with other people..."* 🤣 So close but it's actually other people's holes that I spend my time trying to fill! Sorry, my mind stays in the gutter 24/7 and that was such a low hanging fruit, I couldn't resist! Anyways, JD is a great guy and I love what he's doing in the recovery community. After seeing his video called "a criminals view on gun control" or something like that, I loved it and had to subscribe! He doesn't come at it from a right or left perspective, he just spits straight facts that anybody who's spent some time in the streets knows and it's something that law abiding citizens and lawmakers should know too if the goal is to actually keep people safe! I'm glad that I found his channel and that it's taking off, he really deserves it and I love the message that he's trying to spread. He's far more than just part of the prison genre on here, his experience with addiction, recovery, crime, gangs, the music industry, etc opens him up to a social media career that won't just fall off in 1-2 years like a lot of the people in that genre. I think he's smart by trying to branch out to other topics after getting people's attention with the crime/prison stories. 1090 Jake did that and after his street and prison stories dried up, he was able to realize that he needed to expand and got into being the go to for hip hop news and to a lesser extent, just interesting street news unrelated to him. Being a bit older with more life experience, I think JD has way more to offer and will be able to do a lot more with this platform!
What an awesome video with JD ! Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of his on the first video but I didn’t know him. I thought he really opened up and we got to see the man he has become in this video. Anyone who talks about JD's son.... take a look in the mirror and think about what you're doing. One 30mg oxy, that's all it takes if it's bunk, to take the life of someone you love. Maybe you've been blessed and haven't been affected by addiction, maybe pray that day doesn't come instead of insulting someone's child who's passed away.
Sober from alcohol nearly 7 years, did MAT for opioids for 4 of these yrs, got hooked on other things and sucked back down along the way due to health issues and being gaslit by every doctor I’ve seen no matter what it was for bc they saw I got treatment and labeled me as a seeker when I really just wanted healed, not pain management. 2% sounds about right, unfortunately.
Hes nice to me and he takes care of my kids... Is that what love is? Based on how nice and helpful you are? Speaking from personal experience and bitterness...

Wow. So JD didnt know Ian before he stitched that tiktok video... here i thought they were friends from way back
Absolutely my bub!!!! 💜🤘🏼
Going after someone’s child that’s passed is ridiculously out-of-pocket.
That type of conduct is out of bounds and uncalled for.
Respect for Ian for hustling on side doing Uber for his dream
🙏❤️
"I don't do broke, well" lol .. I just realized, I am same. After 25 yrs working, and retired, that is what I am doing. Broke, not well. A few guys from jail, on RUclips, doing not broke, very well. At least you have that. I think I am jealous.
My ex-wife had me on dog house arrest for almost 6 years!

Either Jd’s a genius multiple times over or he has the credit score of a 15 year old😂😂
Thank you jd you are an inspiration, im struggling feel like I'm drowning right now but I'm gonna get clean I need it, its got to the point where I'm mentally broken and if I don't stop I'm good as dead
Ian thought his sneak diss about Broseph not wearing a shirt in the 1st podcast would go unchallenged
Po n law waking u up at 330 am for 2 weeks straight
J.D. looks like the LUCKY CHARMS leprechaun 🍀 IRISH GREEN is the new BLK.
I know this might be late but jd isn't a POS. He's human, and doing better he seems better than most people who hasn't been in the system
Love both of you guys! I am a heroin ans Crack addict currently in active addiction. It's really rough but your story bring me hope JD. Ian sick ass fucking videos. Hmu if you ever want to get an interview or something! If you want to widen your selection of people you gave on and not just have it be about getting locked up. I have some crazy stories and have an absolutely off the chain story. Love both of you guys!!!!
Hi Ian, I find myself fight to read your t-shirt on each video... no. Fair lol
JD, I see you as a gentle giant!
Btw: I love in NYC, love the topics. I've never been to prison but I've been super close in my youh... I was. A hot head with a terrible temper
this shit bussin ong ong
Ian... blink goddammit its creepy.
Just playin bro 😂 shout out from the 239
Hes nice to me and he takes care of my kids... Is that what love is? Based on how nice and helpful you are? Speaking from personal experience and bitterness...
