I clicked this expecting a Julian Lage, Jazz Rendition of Wonderwall. I'm a little sad that doesn't exist now.
Check out Brad Mehldau’s version of Wonderwall
Christ sake... Why?!
@@leomilani_gtr because that’d be awesome, what do you mean why?
I knew I was playing Wonderwall wrong all these years! So hyped, after years of begging, he's finally coming within travelling distance of where I live to get to see him perform! 🙌
The greatest living improvising player? It's just so staggering every time, from the simplest of melodies to the most outrageous lines and counterpoint. He speaks with such freedom I feel like a toddler learning my ABCs.
that face that he makes at 3:04 is the purest euphoria that every musician feels when they're in the zone and hearing the sweet fruits of their labor, the hours of intense practice and honing of one's skills into the ability to create art out of nothing, it's as if he's breathing out the music with every excited exhale
that or he just nut in his pants
I see Julian Lage, I click
Agreed
We all do ❤
@@mooji4089 No "we" don't ! Speak for yourself dude !
Pain in the ass to transcribe those time changes on quarter notes.
The hardest form of any guitar is the Pseudo-classical/jazz leads.
I would probably say Eugenes trick bag or something like that... maybe Cliffs of dover,
those have got to be some of the most difficult songs out there.
That was awesome!! ❤
Do you, reader, love and need to see spectacular musicians creating vital, innovative, exciting, beautiful new music? THEN YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO SEE JULIAN LAGE IN CONCERT!!! One of my all-time greatest concert/artistic experiences.
Wonderwall go brrrrrr
I think Oasis used more minor chords
There are levels…and then there are even higher levels!
what a freak. and amazing transcription as well.
Goodbye , goodbye, be seeing you, fatitata, fatitata, and l hope we meet again some sunny day.
I will no longer sit back and allow the notation of arbitrary time signatures to sap and impurify all of our precious free-time cadenzas!
Julian Lage is beautiful.
'The whole point of a Julian Lage transcription video is lost if you title it "Anyway, here's Wonderwall"! Why didn't you tell the world, eh?'
'It was to be announced at the Party Congress on Monday. As you know, Sharp Eleven Music loves surprises.'
Very nice
Very interesting tone on that baby.
Imagine what he'd be like if he had a few lessons.
We'll meet again
Wow!)
We'll meet again - love Johnny Cash's version.
Wrong title!!!
This is Smoke on the water
Can you do the alto saxophone solo from Giornos theme?
Never been baited so hard...
Go away, baitin!
can anyone explain to me how julian gets those harmonics by smacking his right hand into the fretboard? ive tried to replicate it but cant quite figure it out.
You need to "smack" 12 frets higher than your fretting hand, just as if you would play an artificial harmonic (if that makes sense)
With this title I was hoping I will be able to send it to my girlfriend hahaha ;D
Bar 7: Sharp Eleven Music
0:37 oof

Kinda Christmassy, nice... try a Nirvana tune next.
