    Major props to all these brave warriors for even engaging in the sport of boxing.The human body just isn't meant to take punishment like that.

    • @nicolasrose3064
      @nicolasrose3064 3 месяца назад +1

      Yes it is, that's why there are weight divisions, a Pro fighter hasn't got the physique of someone sitting at a keyboard bemoaning the sort of punishment their own flabby body's can't take... while trying to make out like it's other people's body's that can't take it.

    • @ivaneames4354
      @ivaneames4354 2 месяца назад +5

      @@nicolasrose3064The human body was not designed for the purpose of being constantly hit. A single well placed punch or kick can seriously injured or even kill a person no matter how good their physique is.
      So the OP is right. The human body CAN take punishment like that, but it is not MEANT to.

      What.... the "OP" can't speak for themselves, who are you, the YT comments forum adjudicator, the spokesperson for those who you presume to be 'non compos mentis', like the person you are patronizing with your conceit, you just assume what the Human body wasn't "designed for" based on your own inadequacies and ineptitude, you are literally projecting your false certainties and then trying to make out like it's other people's inability to understand that you're talking about. You are even paraphrasing the "OP's" comment and inserting words they didn't use, where, in their comment, are they saying the Human body "CAN" take punishment, it's like you need to embellish your utterly lame argument just to make it seem credible....

    Just not sure how you could ever beat the Tyson/Frazier knockout. My roommate ran across the street to get more beer before the fight started and as he was coming back everyone was leaving already. I think I jumped about ten feet high it was so exciting.

    It never ceases to amaze me how the human body reacts to a knockout. When the brain is jarred you can see the body “short circuit”with bodily functions.
    Boxing and MMA have a devastating impact on brain function as does the NFL. Short term glory for a long term injury. I love watching combat sports so I am not condemning it at all. Props to all who enter the ring, bare knuckle too, but they don’t seem to have as many or the same kind of knockouts.

    Michael Spinks pussed out. He was afraid before the fight started!

    • @rssphllps
      @rssphllps 2 месяца назад +1

      I kind of agree, but I wouldn't say he pussed out. Spinks knew he was really just a blown up aging light heavyweight and didn't have the power to deal with a legitimate big punching fast heavyweight like Tyson. However, even though he was a great light heavyweight champ for years, the real money is in the heavyweight division and especially for a fight with Tyson. Therefore, I think he was smart in taking the fight, but took the first opportunity to get out of there with his health and many millions of dollars.

    James Thunder over Crawford Grimsley should have been the fastest KO in boxing history. As it was, it was listed as 13 seconds. And that was only true because the ref counted to 10. But it was literally a 1 punch fight in the first round.
