Love this Tubes and from you too Ang. Having been there, alcohol etc and got to the point of almost taking my own life it can be a deep dark hole. Luckily we found a way out and way to change our direction of travel. I play a lot of golf now. It’s my sanctuary and time to clear my head. Your journey has been tough Pete but seeing where you are now is fantastic. So much credit to you. For those still struggling, as Pete said, please talk. The relief from just admitting the issue is massive. Find the bottom of the cup, rather than the bottom of the bottle. Up the golf life.
I have to say boys, I genuinely love you and what you do, I myself have struggled with alcoholism and it was ridiculously hard to get out of it. I use golf as my therapy, so when you Tubes, talk about your struggles in the past, it really hits me in the heart having dealt with it myself and to be honest I never talk about it a lot so just putting this in this comment is a weird one for me. Golf has really helped me this past couple of years after my poor dad passed away in 2021 and I really went sideways after and whenever I feel like I'm struggling on any particular day, you're channel always helps me and I will be forever grateful for what you do for golf and what you do for people like me who use golf to improve their mental health. What a fantastic trip down memory lane. Great video guys. I played CR a few times about 20 years ago with a work society. We used to play 36 holes in the day. I remember one time sharing the morning lead with a net 1 under, but an afternoon blow up (15 shots worse) put paid to any hopes of winning the day and it all started going wrong on the 2nd - put my ball into the hedge, had to take an unplayable then proceeded to thin and fat my way to a 9!! Golf aside, for those struggling with anything in life, as Tubes said it really helps to talk to someone. #ItsOkToNotBeOk

Another brilliant video. Great banter mixed with emotional and important messages. I was willing Pete's putt in on the 7th. Some really excellent pitch shots from both. The course isn't that long but there were some interesting, challenging holes and the greens were definitely quick.
Never been a drinker myself, but my best mate drinks for us both and I’ve helped him in a funny kind of way by just making sure we have a great time in each others company and learning on his part that it doesn’t always have to revolve around the booze. I admire and respect you, Tubes. It must be a terribly difficult point to reach knowing you do have a problem. Realising that and turning the corner takes a lot of strength and all credit to you mate.
