For me “The Untamed” will always be the best BL drama in TV history. No sex, no kiss, nothing explicit but you can feel their love and their suffering for each other. I started to watch BL dramas after “The Untamed” and in none of them I grasp the feelings that I did while watching TU. i read but i felt the series was more focused on wei ying but the text dicusses lot more interesting journey of lan zhan .. he fought for his love alot more.. aleast more 10- 15 eps could be possible

In the end, after they decide to go in opposite directions, Lan Zhan turns back and calls Wei Wuxian's name who looks back and sees his beloved "confidant". That's one of the most electrifying scenes I have ever watched in a drama. Finally they decide they cannot live without each other. Worth the entire drama!
i am currently rewatching untamed again have lost count of the amount of times i have but then i just cried my way thru this vid watching all the ways they communicated just thru their eyes,
i don't whether it is their only acting skills or not but i felt the two leads had long deep connections that is expressed in their every expression. may be they know each other from past life .i started believing on past life for them......Yibo improved alot since the untamed but Lan wanji is unbeatable and wei is xiao zhan ..the author wrote the character for them . i really cant think of any other cast
I’ve watched countless other bls and none of them can even compare to the untamed, it’s perfect in every way. Ik I’m 5 years late to the fandom but yibo and xiao zhan were the only actors suitable for this masterpiece. This drama is unforgettable to me, forever. Ik this seems dramatic but I’ll take this drama and novel to my grave. It hurts to know that we’ll never see a season 2 of this drama. I rarely ever cry for anything but this drama left me broken for a week. China’s stupid Bl censorship really ruins everything but besides that, this drama is the BEST drama and bl that I’ve ever watched. Thank you, the untamed, for every wonderful moment you have created for me. ❤️💚

I know the first time I tried to watch it I just couldn’t get into it but I kept seeing clips of it on my RUclips feed and it got me interested so I made up my mind and sat down and watched it. Now I can’t let it go! This is the best BL of all time! I have watched it at least six or seven times now and will probably watch it probably six or seven more times. I have also watched a fanfic that was made by Biya fic which is a second season made with edits from the untamed which is very good. I think I have watched everything that I can associate it with the untamed. Let me tell you you won’t be sorry!

Imma watch the season two stuff by that person you mentioned, it sounds really interesting!
