I watched Jackie hill Perry say sometimes people continue to engage in such activities because they don’t truly believe “the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit”. Our disposition in life is based on our relationship with our Creator whether we realize it or not. Our desires never fulfill us. What we are searching for is found in right relationship with The Father through Christ...the transition from wrong to right is an uphill battle that requires humility and the acceptance of our need for a Savior and Lord. ❤

I've been saying this with everything in the UK scene not just podcast but unfortunately Black Brits suffer from tribalism due to us being from different countries despite us all being the same colour whereas Black Americans all come from America so there is a lot more support in America. To put it shortly the UK scene is very toxic in general and full of hate no one wants to see the other win, sad but true.
People fail to understand “grace under the god” is not eternal. Grace is not something that is a lifetime, so the ideology of doing whatever you want while being a follower of Christ is going against the word. Btw, I’m atheist, so I don’t say this from a place of judgement, but observation.
No, actually, grace is eternal. God Himself is an eternal God and in Him, we have eternal salvation. We, even as believers, are bound to sin...EVERY SINGLE DAY. Being Christian doesn't make us incapable of committing sin. However, because we have accepted the loving sacrificial death of Jesus, we are not held to the same eternal damnation as those who choose not to be saved from their sins. Persistent sin, in any believer, is more of a sign that our faith is not as strong in any particular area of out lives to believe that God is capable of fulfilling every need we have (that's why we tend to run to instant gratification such as sex, alcohol, drugs, being workaholics, shopping addictions, etc.). Nevertheless, as a Christian, we never run out of God's grace because as the Bible says in Romans 5:20-21, "Where sin abounds (when we do things that are not pleasing to God), GRACE MUCH MORE ABOUNDS (God provides the spiritual and practical help needed to grow out of carnal appetites, causing us enjoy our relationship with Him and thus accomplish our purpose in this life).
But it’s even worst for you if you know the word of God and still go back to the world whereas if you didn’t know then fair enough. I think your being even more disrespectful but I hear it sin can be fun but with God he will take away those desires
