It feels pretty inconsistent to me 😞 sometimes you don't even get nearly enough height to make it up there. But I have found it to be more consistent when sliding into there and crouching, I assume it's because sonic is being pushed farther into the wall resulting in a bigger launch. If you do get stuck in 2d, you can run the last lap backwards to finish the stage but it'll even out/be slower than a regular speedrun
