any tips for outlining (specifying the chords in bach transcriptions. I tend to look at the chord tones and use trial and error to determine a chord (triad) that fits. Must be a schematic approach for this.
Great question! Personally, I tend to look at the exact Triad or 7th Chord arpeggios occurring in a given bar/phrase, and that explains the "chord changes" being utilized in Bach's music.
