@@rizzer404 I use the Apollo solo , but I didn’t use it for this video, I actually used my ssl 2 for this recording , and no I do not own any hardware compressors, I record through plugins and print directly on pro tools, if you wanna do that, here’s how you go about it, set up an aux track , make sure it’s mono, then setup a normal mono track, then the input of the aux mono track would be your audio interface’s input and the output should be a routed to a free bus, then your input on your recording track should be your aux track output , your plugins should be on the aux track, that way if you record, the audio signals go through the plugins on your aux track and back into the recording track which prints the vocals with the effects, try not to do a lot of compression on the way in tho, I usually aim for 2-3db of gain reduction, hope this helps
@ can’t remember tha exact mic I used on this video, but here are the list of mics I own, the rode nt2a, shure sm7b,shure pga27 and the tlm 102, but based off the way the raw vocals sounds, im guessing I used the shure sm7b

Yes I do print with compression, and I just put the pultec eq on my print track but I don’t do nothing to the eq , I just leave it on there for coloration
