For the recodd with helldivers 2 the sony shenanigans have not been fully resolved. To this day they have not made it capeable for people in countries/terrtories (about 177) able to purchase the game on PC anymore. Yes they dont require the PSN account but its killed off availability to alot of places
God of War Ragnarok and Until Dawn remake too. I guess all new pc releases will. Doesn't matter if single player or multiplayer. ... Would be crazy if they back track and do it for previous game, or atleast the ones released this year, like Horizon Forbidden West.
@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070 how is that a lie? for example i can't get to those steam pages of those games. "This item is currently unavailable in your region"
@@sonicrunn3r895 they lied in both sentences. Helldivers 2 is resolved, only GoT is unavailable for purchase and it's 120-130 countries not 177. It's also steam that's blocking those regions, not sony.
I'd honestly say the algorithm has been pretty decent to me lately. With the growth rate this channel has been experiencing over the last month, I should hopefully hit 1k subs soon.
Really good video, everything on point. I do wonder if maybe it would've been better to do this video with updates after the new Summer Games Fest (as it revealed more about previously showcased games). But I guess the whole point is to see what happened to everything in one year. This time I think overall across multiple showcases 2024's show was pretty good as I saw a lot of interesting games, tried a lot of demos, put some thinga on my radar. Xbox in particular looked strong (and good job on predicting new GoW). I guess now we just have to wait and see what happens in the following year.
I based the reception on a mixture of metacritic score and user score on metacritic and steam. Also checking for review bombing etc. it's not a perfect system and in the end I had to make a couple judgement calls and DD2 was one of those games.
I just don't vibe with soulslikes. I have watched a friend of mine play some of the game over discord and it looked pretty great. I may get around to it one day.
Riot, famously reasonable and non predatory with their micro transactions in other games, will surely save the dying fighting game community plagued by monetization🙄 I think your expectations for the free to play riot game are greatly misplaced friend
The FGC is bigger now than it has ever been historically, not a fan of MTX but to say it's dying is juts ignoring the numbers. Almost every major fighter is retaining more than its previous title thats almost unheard of haha.
No Nintendo? I mean yeah, they weren't a part of the SGF proper, but they were still a major studio who released a video game presentation in June. That's gotta be honorary, at least
I feel like, this video should have been done after "E3 season" since Summer Game Fest, Xbox event, and Nintendo Direct etc will all drop this June updating a lot of these games. Even the recent Playstation State of Play answered few of these.
I get that EGS is "annoying" because it's not the market leader, but at this point if you want to game on pc, you gotta have multiple stores installed. Especially since egs isn't even that bad compared to the competition.
I wholeheartedly disagree. I removed EVERY external launcher app and I expect my yearly gaming habit to look exactly the same come the January report card.
@ReachTea isn't supporting the platform with an almost monopolistic market share, less consumer friendly since it reduces competition? Epic takes a smaller cut of game profits than steam does. Steam has reportedly been counteracting this by forcing developers to sell their games at the same price on other plattforms even when they should theoretically sell it cheaper. Very scummy against indie devs
This is genuinely a very clever form of analysis and of holding accountability to the industry (as they like to talk a lot of hype but - well - results are mixed at best). You need more subscribers and reach for this level of work - so you can count me as one more!
Meh, it really wasnt analysis at all. A good chunk of the analysis was "Oh this was on the EGS so i didnt know it released!". It's just a biased video with very little substance lol

@@TrollismsI aint gonna lie Concord looked decent *before* we saw gameplay and realized that its a hero arena shooter. Ew. This could have been our replacement for beyond good and evil 2 but it was not to be. Instead we got another generic ass shooter that is likely to be dead on release.
gonna be fully honest, never seen a video of yours before, only came for the wholesome direct (was pretty disappointed but it was understandable, 80 is a lot), but actually ended up staying the full 50 minutes due to the high production value, well done!

With the release of the Final Shape for Destiny 2, I can certainly say that it was worth the longer wait, I'm not sure what would've happened if it released in February, but man, is this the best story narrative in Destiny's history, and a really good way to close off the Light and Dark saga. For a review, I loved the story and the linear storytelling through the map of it, the raid was awesome and piss difficult even at normal, the final mission put the point on the "i" as one of the best story endings I've ever seen. Weapons and exotics are really good, other side stories were extremely fun to do, especially the Wild Card mission. I'd say it's a good 9/10. For the Episode: Echoes, since it's like the seasonal format we had before, I can't say what will turn out, but it's SO MUCH better than what we had. Longer seasonal track, more exotics, more weapons, a lot better stories, I'm loving this so far. I wonder what will happen in Act 2 and 3, but it's pretty close to getting to Act 2, so we'll see. I'd rate it an 8/10 from this standpoint.
Love the content, the angle and your analysis are refreshing. A bit of unsolicited feedback: you blasted through this list, which I understand you're keeping runtime in mind, but the lack of a preface for each title made it difficult to keep up or understand what you're saying without constantly watching the video (I listen while working). Keep the content rolling!
