I swore this was from DK3...the shipper says DK3. Looks like it might be from the Dark Knight Returns... also Green Arrow shot the arrow.
It doesn't make sense as the arrow was definitely from the first volume.
@@Cervando Yeah but this specific scene was from The Dark Knight Returns part 2 movie although he never has Batman's Armored cowl in the film
@@JoshBerkers The shipper and Gem Mint was referring to the novels however, not the film and even then it was part 3 not 2.
@@Cervando There is no part 3 for the movie it's just part 1 and 2... And they fight in the second part at the end of the movie. This statue is taken right out of the movie
@@JoshBerkers Did you actually bother to read the OP? It specifically mentions DK3, the third book in the graphic novel trilogy NOT the movie. He also references it in the video. Have you even read them?

Ok I’ve watched this vid more than any other sculpt I LOVE franks art and this plus the realism makes this such a fun and bad ass sculpture it’s probs my favorite Superman ever just because how different it is and how clean the paint apps are this is just too sick
Frank Miller and Lee Bermejo kill it with DC art and Prime 1 emulates that perfectly in 3D... these pieces are awesome

The skin tone is very spot on because in the comic and movie Superman and Batman fight while there's snow outside...So it is spot on for the scene it represents
Maaaan I don't know but this statue is insane fr. All the details on the skin and suit are outstanding and I liked those red eyes and the batman cowl on the left hand. Props to prime1 on this

HOLY switch-outs, Batman. The happy face by itself looked goofy, but on the body it looked great. Definitely a lot more optimistic vibe to it. The final and angry rendition is definitely my favorite. Great review, Gem!

Not really a big fan of superman statues or superman for that matter. But I gotta admit, this is a great statue. I much prefer superman as a villain, just like in injustice. And the dark Knight returns is probably one of my favourite story arcs.

Wow! Much better than the pictures! You scored with this one. A sleeper hit. If not for the portraits, this might be better than the hush supes. Love how this Supes from the Miller comics looks more beefy and love the bright colors. Just can’t get over the cartoony portraits , tho they are based on the comic.

He’s epic, so boss. Love the heat vision ready eyes, that’s his best look for sure. Hey, you should really have a special storage cabinet for all your switch outs. I hate placing mine on their boxes. Part of the fun is to ocassionaly change the look of the statues. But that’s just me. He’s huge for sure. Awesome Supes!

One day I need to get a Prime 1 piece love the details. Rage portrait of this Superman is amazing.
Also loved that last mister freeze statue too. That's how they should have went with Schwarzenegger, cause that whole suit just felt like "robocop" reuse. If they go this route whether they go with another stocky actor or a Willem Defoe type, this suit could fit any body type
