That is a wicked custom square body Chevy sir! I love the paint, the wheels, and the electric conversion looks awesome too. What is the wooden vice/tool you use when cutting on the casting with the jewelers saw??? I've been trying to find one for awhile, but don't know what its called. 😥
i shot straight here ready to ask that same question! i was gonna take a extra fine grit sanding sponge to remove it but thats time consuming. maybe its acetone/nail polish remover??
Easy-Off oven cleaner works great to remove chrome paint from plastic. Just be careful of the (toxic?) fumes and be sure to scrub it well with hot soapy water after.
Those were hard to find, I only found 2 in the wild and both had beat up cards, I'm sure I only found them because the scalpers left them behind due to card damage lol
@Asheroony155 we are not all that fortunate, here in Southern California if you're not first to the pegs you're definitely last. We not only have to deal with other collectors, but also deal with scalpers, hoarders and store workers. Here in the Los Angeles area is really rough 👎.
Turning the Chevy Silverado into an electric custom is definitely different but exciting for sure, great job with this project.
Awesome square body Chevy build. Love the paint.

That turned out so kool the color scheme was spot on. Great job let’s keep it going. Maybe with a 59 impala low rider. Convertible may be. 🤞

This turned out pretty amazing! Nice build! Can I ask what you have used to remove the chrome paint from the chassis?

@@hotcreams3615 I don't know. I think aceton would damage the plastic.
It's bleach, but you have to dip it for a while to remove it completely
@@Joey_Mendez_Dream_Garage thanks

Hhmmm nah
What? The original paint had a better design, and you easily could have used peroxide water with a black light to clear the glass
