Wagondrift Lodge - camping in the bush!

Wow, what a great start of 2024! This was our trip #25 which took place in January 2024 at Wagondrift Lodge! We got invited to join a Bird Watching group visiting Wagondrift and it was a great experience for us and the children. Campsites are HUGE, with private ablutions, lapa and braai with nice touch of a light right on it, which helps a lot to braai at night. The place is very quiet in general and it is ideal for those who want to get in contact with nature. Banana Camper had a great time there over a weekend and we can recommend it for you. There are 4 camping sites (Porcupine, Warthog, Bushpig and Hedgehog) and Porcupine is the one with the most shade. We got poor (very poor) Vodacom signal and MTN worked reasonably well.
