I loved the story about Brodies citizenship. I'm Irish and as my children were both born in England, I got them Irish birth
certificates and passports, I'm very proud to be Irish and proud that my children are Irish citizens so I really understand

Yes they are. They moved to USA when they first got married and then moved back here a few years ago.

Why would you not have the kids have dual citizenship?

They are dual citizenship. They are both British as born in UK and then we applied for their US citizenship through them being children of a US citizen.
