These people you’re listening to are NOT wise.
New humans can’t learn faster than smart technology so that implies that in the near future the human race gets less educated and the machines tell you all what to do.
Buying 1 car makes you a consumer and the car GOT CONSUMED. You didn’t get an investment! In 5 years, you got a broken car. It’s still broken in 10 years. It got consumed! It’s worn out! You made NO investment in the design or the car or the industry. None!

Very sharp fellow, and seen all there is in slot cars... We also race Monogram and Strombecker midgets along with the Eldon Indy cars. I finished second to Mr. Lindsey in the Alabama Womp Championship. If you're ever in the north Alabama reach out. We have a huge clubs here for all scales. I race HO cars a bit when I can. Yes I know that he is out on the West coast but he seems to know what he is talking about. He just this summer sold his two door luxury coupe. He had crazy problems with his and fixed it because of battery problems. The guy from the Akron dealership came across as being knowledgeable. A knowledgeable technician is worth his weight in gold. I had major problems with a Jeep a couple years ago and know first hand how great an excellent technician can be. Long crazy story that will not fit here. Thanks to the internet and smart TV’s consumers now realise if you buy 1 item and open the packaging YOU’VE BECOME A CONSUMER. Not a collector! Not a modifier either.
You’re SO terribly influenced by baby boomers, you don’t even realise it.
If you buy 1 of each item, you’re still only a consumer. If you buy 3 of each, you are serious about the object and begin to become a modifier. You can’t modify successfully if you’ve got nothing to compare it with.
To become a collector you MUST BUY at least 5 or 6 cars of the same car model.
What you actually have is a lot of consumed cars and ‘down time’ when you can’t even drive the car.
The more units you buy the less down time you have and the more knowledge you get about the car design.
You don’t realise the journey you’re on.
You’re on the journey to broken cars that get consumed, with NO collection in 5 years and NO investment in 10 year.

The 36 had more torque & power down the straights & the 16 handled corners better with a lower centre of gravity.
The 26d was meant to be a compromise lower in height than the 36 & shorter than both motors it handled better than a 36 & had more torque & power than a 16.
These are all 3 pole motors with up around 100 turns of 31awg wire.
At the same time in the 60s slot car part company's like DynaRewind ,Mura ,Champion & others along with racers themselves started rewinding them & doing triple winds & double winds along with single winds of up to 24awg better magnets were sourced to go with these winds & the 16d became supreme.

I wouldn't compare it to an old TV as that doesn't offer anything different. An Automotive comparison I would say it's more like manual gears vs automatic. A properly designed modern automatic can shift faster and smoother than an human can however people still like the old fashioned manual shifting even if they know it's not going to be faster when they're driving. Car racing in internet gaming has made this form obsolete.
There’s no waiting time for paint to dry in internet gaming, for example. You also don’t need to spend any real money for 100 custom colours in gaming.
The user experience of racing cars in gaming is a million times better than slot car racing.
In an enormous population, it will always seem like slot car racing didn’t die.
Smart technology implies that you will NOT get an increase in slot car participation.

It doesn’t matter that you said that stuff about the double motors.
2 motors gives the user the ability to adjust cornering performance. So it’s actually a great feature for consumers to buy.
The average car driver now knows how to adjust differentials for enhanced braking and acceleration and torque performance. Clearly you don’t know.
You should have embraced the twin engine deal and evolved as an owner driver, but now it’s too late for you.
Internet gaming is here and we’re way ahead of you and your friends.

I just love watching your slot car videos. Thank You Sir. Can I send you some information via e-mail? I don't believe that the e-mail on your RUclips page is working. (insert sad face icon here)
