I want to go too. I was trying to get in touch with Shyne so I could do a interview while I was there and possibly work with the Belize tourist board so I can do some good vlogging.
I visited Dominican Republic and it was the simplicity and how humble the citizens were. The Hotels are what carry off the island. However, they eat all the foods we would eat in Jamaica 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 . I really enjoyed my time there though. Bahia Fantasia was extremely beautiful, and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
I am a bit skeptical about going there. For 1 there has been a few deaths of African Americans that went there to have fun and for 2 , their relationship with Haiti and the Haitians and how they treat them and for 3 , the Dominicans I meet in the US who look like black people they try very hard to separate themself by saying ih papi i nuh black , which tells me they do not like black people. On the flip side, every one I KNOW THAT have gone there has had lots of fun there and enjoyed it. I want to go but I would have to go to a very secured spot, all inclusive type

The island is very green and beautiful, and fruitful and the people are very warm and welcoming. The U.S$ is 1-$2.69EC. It’s a bit expensive though especially their food, but it’s worth every penny.

The only Caribbean island I want to live in is Florida (lol)........Just want sunshine and safety. J'ca can supply the sunshine but safety? Nah.............
LOL, I have to laugh at this because depending on where you are in Florida it is very safe. My area is very safe, we had our first murder in 5 years in 2022 and it was a group of teenagers who stole drugs from some people up in Maryland and came here to hide out and they trailed them here.
@mrs.laborde6604 Yes. Not being sarcastic. Remember the couple who must have thought about the crime rate in Grenada, I did. So, they went on a boat ride there. Got killed & thrown overboard.. The devil was after them. Anyway, I would go there, the odds of being attacked are less than many places.

Crime is mostly ghetto people killing each other. Mostly middle class Jamaicans are living a decent life. Look at the Mitchell's. They are living a decent life in Jamaica.
Good question and here is my answer. I did a video on this recently. Jamaica likes to hide the fact that it is impacted drastically by the crime rate but it is. They pretend it is not and beat their chest and say, no matter what they keep on coming, not true though. The Bahamas did TEN MILLION in tourist visits in 2023, while Jamaica did ONE MILLION and change. The Bahamas is way more expensive with a lot less to see and do , yet people prefer to go there instead. That says a lot to me.
@@souflotv But that doesn't translate into the typical Bahamian on their islands being much better off. A Jamaican, Adam Stewart is one of the biggest hoteliers there.
