@@TheDeadlyKnight ok, I'll admit that some stats looked great for Maryland, like top 16 in scoring O and D. However, they had some other analytics that sucked. Looking at some of the teams in front of them though, they should have been in the top 20. Now they'll be punished for losing to the number four team. In the SEC they would call this a good loss, and part of the gauntlet that they have to face. 😂

OSU's O-Line can't run block. Plus Ryan Day's cluster-F running scheme is like running into a brick wall because there is nowhere for the RBs to go except backwards when the O-Linemen line up 1 inch apart. They can pass block well, which is the harder thing to do, and I would say just throw the ball more but McCord can't toss a simple screen pass or a quick slant without a 4 second windup to whip the ball 200 MPH 5 yards away from his target and he can't pick up a simple blitz. McCord is in his 3rd season at OSU and he plays like he regressed because he doesn't play like a typical OSU caliber QB. It makes me scratch my head and wonder why the hell Day even recruited him because he has concrete for feet and he's not accurate enough for Day's offensive system. Just imagine what JJ McCarthy would look like if he was groomed in Ryan Day's system at OSU, where he wanted to go before he was stuck going to Michigan.
They recovered, but if this keeps up, Penn State and Michigan are both slappin an L on that resumé.
