I'm not mad at Spencer not liking Hollow Knight, I bounced off of it a couple of times before it clicked. The melancholy vibes, the characters full of personality but still vague, the massive world, the endless exploration, the story told to you mostly through the environment, how everything is connected, it's Dark Souls with different combat. Probably one of the best values in gaming for 15 bucks.
Same. I love that game and it took me a couple times to get in the flow. From there I loved it. It’s def a metroidvania with some souls elements honestly not a bad entry point for both kinds of games. Haven’t played silksong yet
