Adult Bronze Interpretive 2021 National Showcase

Here is how interpretive works. I have NOT been practicing this program prior to the competition. Instead, when it's time for the event, we all bring a suitcase with costumes and props and then wait to hear the song the official selected. At that point we have 30 minutes to come up with the specific costumes and props we will use and choreograph a program for the judges.

I took first place in this event, landing me a spot in the Parade of Adult Interpretive Champions, where I was given a different song to interpret.
