Greatest classicist of his generation.Best Parliamentarian she ever knew was Mrs Thatchers description of Enoch and Enoch had criticised her.(she had speeches of Enoch in her bag)Vited the most impressive MPBrilliant constituency MP.Great orator=some who heard his Hola camp speech say it was the Greatest speech they ever heard.Poet,linguist,Historian.Prophet and Man of Honour.Amazing Man .RIP and thank you Professor Powell.(should of been Prome Minister,)

Well said Gareth. Keep spreading that word, more and more of my friends are starting to cop on. As a generation we were raised on Powell was a racist etc, he was. Prophet, a highly intelligent and charismatic one as you pointed out, something I nor many I knew ever bothered to learn growing up but we were never taught it in either. We’ve degenerated so much as a nation and union.
