Rakudai Kishi was a fantastic show and I will forever be salty that Asterisk War got a second season instead of it. Both aired in the same season with a similar premise yet the superior show somehow didn't get a sequel yet the other one did

@@sebastianesselen8308 fucking lit......I'm on volume 13 and 18 volumes are out. The Sword King festival was a banger. Especially the [Ikki vs Moroboshi], [Stella vs Ouma Kurogane], [Ikki vs Shinomiya] and [Ikki vs Stella]. Vol 13 takes place in the Vermillion kingdom and holy shit it was a bloodbath. And I thought Akatsuki Acadamy were the bad guys during and before the festival while the real bad guys were here. And oh shit Edelweiss......she's one of my favorite character right now. And my favorite line out of all the volumes I've read so far is "Dragon Fanging the Ittou Shura" (you'll get it if you read the volumes). Overall my verdict is read it. The manga finishes at volume 4 so you can't hope to finish the series on the manga. Yes the series is kinda cheesy at times but I would never have geeked out about it in a reply section like a child describing his first day at school if I didn't fucking love the series. Read it, it's good. And if you want let me know I'll send links to download pdf and epub of the volumes. (I recommend pdf tho).
