Hi! Hebrews 2:11 “So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.” The same could be said about Jesus concerning the fact that He considers us brothers. It is literally against God’s Laws for siblings to marry. So, you cannot look at this with carnal understanding. The Bible says our Savior’s name shall be the Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. He also says in Isaiah I am the Lord, besides me there is no Savior. We identify Jesus as our Savior because He and the Father are one. In Jeremiah He says I am the cistern of Living Waters, in John He says I am the Living Waters and the Holy Spirit is considered a river that we drink from (1 Corinthians 12:13). We serve one God, and if you try to understand the nature of the Godhead with carnal rationalization you won’t understand. The Bible says the Word is Spirit- you must ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what is written. It is plainly written and clearly spoken by our God but false teachings or lack of understanding can blind us to the truth. So please, pray and study the Word with the Holy Spirit as your guide. The Spirit of truth will never lead you wrong. The scriptures contain what God says of Himself, not what people have misinterpreted Him to be; I believe God- I believe the Bible.
