- In Malaysia, perhaps nobody knows the water better than a group whose name literally means ‘sea gypsies.’ For generations, the Bajau people have lived off the sea, but there is growing concern about whether they can sustain their lifestyle. Berta Tilmantaite travelled to Sabah in Malaysia, where she saw firsthand how the Bajau people live.
In Philippines we called them badjao. They learn to swim before the learn to walk
Nice people, except I don't like the littering. I guess that's typical of the human species.
We all loved the sea.
I would love to be like them all the rest of my life in this temporary physical fleeting wicked world. They were and are the true founder and inhabitants of this land. What rights have we to rob them from staying there .
