Regarding plum, I gave you a big thumbs-up when you suggested Poison. Absolutely! And Midnight Fantasy is also great if you want blueberry note mixed with the plum. But if you want to go a little woodier, try Feminite du Bois.
I'm a D&G Red cap addict and watched you review on the various versions. I've seen some for sale on eBay that show the Italian bottle with thicker atomiser stem, the bottom of the bottle with Italy stamped on it but the red box showing a bar code and QR code. I didn't think these were used at the time this version was produced???

Re: the plum question - the first one that came to mind is Chambre Noire by Olfactive Studio? That one is plumy to me, although it's not a 'plum' perfume. It's lovely.
I like this one too but for me it leans more into the leather category. It’s super cool though!

It's such a joy to watch you talk about fragrance Thomas! Arquiste isn't talked about enough these days. Their latest Indigo Smoke wasn't my cup of tea. But I have been loving Misfit these days, such a mood lifter for me. I haven't sampled Nanban yet. I presumed it could be too masculine for me, but I want to smell it none the less. I know it's one of your top 10 for life. Thanks for your video! Take care!

Hi Jenn! Yes arquiste are a lovely brand. I liked indigo smoke I wore it on bonfire night in London. It was pretty coool. Nicer than the patchouli one they released before. I always watch them closely even if I don’t like their releases. Nanban could be considered masculine for sure but I know a few ladies who rock it!

Thanks! I actually haven’t tried Midnight Fantasy. It does keep coming up as one I should try, so I will give it a go. It’s compared a lot to B&BW Dark Kiss, which I have, but the fruits in it aren’t plum to me, but berries.
When you were talking about the best jasmine scents, I think you meant to mention Opus IX, but you said Opus I.
You might also like Feminite du Bois for the plum note.
What do you think of Parfumo? In my experience their database is more extensive than Fragrantica, their info is more accurate and they also mention if something is discontinued. It's just that their forum isn't too active.
I'm so happy to have you videos in my life again! I have to comment that Jasmine et Cigarette smells exactly live ashtray to me. I love tobacco fragrances of any kind...but this one is just too much ashtray:)

The latest ones I have smelled are cow and sacred scarab. I haven’t tried cardigan or harvest mouse :( sad face

How do you know so much about perfume? Do you work in the industry?
I do! I have worked in 3 different ones. Added to that it’s been a passion of mine for more than 2 decades and I did a natural perfumery course which took me two years to complete. So.. just an all round crazy perfume person haha

Hello! I have tried musicology yes but not the others. There are some great white florals in there namely “sun goddess” and “I belong to you” I think they are very robust and fleshed out perfumes (apart from white is white? I think it’s called)

Love the advice to actually use perfumes! I'm definitely guilty of being too protective of some of my treasures sometimes, but what use is hoarding and not enjoying them fully!
